Looking at my status window, I was pleasantly surprised that I have an innate talent and a blessing, even with attributes having 40 points in mana, I was sure there are not many the same.

But looking at the luck points, I was reminded that all my life I've always had bad luck.

"Even then, it's not bad."

I was very happy looking at my status. However, the Charm attribute confused me a little. I know I'm above average, but my dark brown hair, brown eyes, and well-formed shape of my face don't seem extraordinary. Even my height of 179 cm isn't particularly tall.

"Was it just me, that didn't have an idea about my handsomeness"

While I was having some narcissistic thoughts about my appearance.

"Well, whatever." It's not like it can help in this situation that much.

After basking a little in the afterglow of my happiness, I turned my attention to my blessing, feeling it was the manifestation of my deepest desires.

Trying to concentrate on the word "Blessing" in the status a little, a description came out.

Looking at the somewhat vague description, I didn't know if I should be happy with the now seemingly useless blessing.

"What the fuck does 'finite number of rebirths' actually mean?"

"And the second part with 'weaves harmonious echoes,' does it mean that I don't have all my memories?"

Reading the description again, I noticed the three stars.

"Does that mean there are blessings with more stars?"

I was thinking maybe the problem is that I have a weak blessing, but how to strengthen it was still a problem, if that was possible, actually.

Shaking my head and trying not to think about the blessing anymore, I turned to the innate talent to see if it was useful, unlike the blessing.

Humming to myself, I was glad that the innate talent was pretty nice, contrary to the blessing.

From my attribute in mana, I was pretty sure that I have talent in magic or something, but seeing the innate talent again was another story.

"Maybe I'm some kind of genius."

Sitting on the bed and looking at the status window and other things, I was reminded that I had not thought about the overall situation. Was I chosen by the Twilight Codex system, making me something like a chosen one? Or was this awakening something that had happened to a lot of people?

But before that, I tried to feel the difference in my body. Like with this amount of mana and my innate talent, I should feel something different.

However, even after concentrating or trying various poses, I couldn't feel anything significant. Maybe my body felt a little stronger, but that was it.

"Is it normally like this?"

While saying this, I decided not to dwell on the problem anymore.

Taking the phone from the table and opening it, I was surprised by the number of messages I saw, even if almost all of them were from my family.

But without reading them, I first wanted to check the news.

Opening a news site, I was greeted with an emergency notification.

It was a very long report, but if I want to highlight the important points:

"So everyone had awakened."

Saying so, it was a bit depressing, but nothing could be done.

The most important thing now is that people who couldn't adapt to mana lost control of their bodies and became just like zombies, and there's chaos everywhere.

The government is trying to create shelters for people who can't stay in their homes anymore, but when these shelters will be done, no one knows.

Looking back at the news report, there was no mention of blessings or innate talents; only that some people were more powerful than others right after awakening.

"So they've decided to conceal information about blessings and innate talents,"

I chuckled as I said aloud.

Either way, it didn't matter to me.

Lastly, for those who couldn't adapt to mana, they were labeled zombies. Like any story, if infected, you would turn into one.

"Nothing surprising about this one."

But how the infection is being transmitted, nothing was written about it.

After pondering the information I got from the news, I finally noticed the internet was still functional, and electricity was still on.

"Should I hope that it will still work normally later?"

Even as I spoke, I doubted it. The chaos outside showed no signs of stopping since mana arrived on our planet.

"Will the situation remain the same later on?"

Clearly not.

Glancing at my phone, I decided to check the messages I had received:
