Odd Assumption

"I'm glad you're always inspired," Marigold said tentatively.

"You, too, I hope you find some inspiration," Raymart replied. On the other hand, he became perplexed when he noticed Marigold faking her smile at the time. He simply shrugged and considered another way to cheer her up.

"Your lipstick looks good on you," he said earnestly. He had no intention of tainting it with malice. He can't help but compliment her on it because it's unusual for him to see her wearing lipstick. And from what he read in a blog post years ago, there's a study that women are feeling ecstatic when men compliment their shade of lipstick.

"By the way, thanks for the compliment," Marigold said, puzzled as to why, of all the things he could compliment about her appearance, he chose to compliment the color of her lipstick.

Raymart and Marigold dashed back to Sunsky Building after lunch. Raymart observed Marigold's difficulty walking due to her broken heels and injured ankle.
