Why we shouldn't have kissed

The sound of a camera clicking makes me freeze in Jake's arms. He notices the weird expression on my face and he too frowns back, confused on what's making me this way.

"What's wrong?" I nudge him to put me down and I immediately scan the dimly lit part of the park we are.

The park is empty and it surely can't be squirrels stepping on a stick because that was clearly a camera sound.

I hear it again, twice this time.

"Did you hear something?"

Jake chuckles behind me, "What? Is your scared mind causing you to hear ghosts?" He jokes.

I ignore him, more focussed on the strange sounds. I guess that's his usual attitude; he's just the annoying, playful boy at your school.

I hear more clicking sounds and my face scrunches up. There has to be someone in the dark, taking our pictures.
