When Qin Hai returned to the first-floor lobby of Yafang Tower, virtually everyone had already left, leaving only Qiao Wei and Xiao Lingling waiting for him.

As he walked in, Qiao Wei and Xiao Lingling both showed delighted expressions and surrounded him, one on each side.

Xiao Lingling spoke quickly and cheerfully, "Qin Hai, President Lin just told Sister Weiwei that the company won't fire you."

"Yes, President Lin did indeed say that," Qiao Wei added, smiling as well.

"Why would she fire me if I didn't fail to sign the contract? Xiaoling, I've come to the conclusion that I should call you 'little dunce' instead!"

Qin Hai lightly tapped Xiao Lingling on the head, teasing her with a smile. Xiaoling quickly covered her head and protested, "Don't hit my head, you're the dunce. Humph, no good deed goes unpunished, I'm not going to speak up for you anymore."
