Welcoming The New Year Spring Festival

"I did it!" Ryuta felt the fatigue slowly leave his body as the test drew to a close. He clenched his fists and punched the air as he started silently celebrating. At the very least, he was still capable of going head-to-head with the other Disciples who easily passed the test. 

Fwoom~

A shadow appeared in front of him, and the face of a familiar girl loomed as he stopped celebrating midway. He blinked twice before jolting into a sitting position and nonchalantly greeting the girl.

Heaving a sigh, Murasaki Nanako sat beside Ryuta, slouching forward as she stole a glance at him. She couldn't believe that Ryuta was actually keeping up with everyone else even though his talent was only above-average at most. 

"And here I was, thinking I got ahead," Nanako commented. Quite frankly, she finished the early morning training first, but Ryuta accomplished to complete the exercise despite its difficulties. 

"I had to. I told you I could do it."
