For readers who forget who someone is, or needs details on their power sets. Especially useful when I start putting nuances on Quirks that are not canon, because it's going to happen, and when my original characters come in. Check whenever you want, because it is bound to change. Of course, I will try not to put in any details that will give spoilers.
Perhaps if spoilers become necessary, I will make a part two and reference the chapter it starts from. Sounds like a good idea.
Kaisei Oguchi- the main character
I hope you haven't forgotten about him, as his details will come up frequently. He's the main character, after all. Physically, he is on the taller side, and has Kerrigan's antenna hair, and black eyes that flare into glowing purple when he uses his Quirk, or if he just wants to. Raised on the "old stories," and therefore kind of otaku. Well, certainly more than the rest of the class seems to be.
Quirk- Monster Master- the ability to summon and control zerg units. He is psychically linked to each of them, and can sense what they sense. However, the units are perfectly autonomous, and therefore do not draw his attention unless they signal for it. The more he summons, the stronger two factors wear him down. One is a migraine. The other is the savage urges of the Swarm. Both increase based on current usage, and linger afterwards.
Techniques: Or in Kai's case, mostly available units: Zergling, Changeling
Equipment: Zergling Express
Combat Gear: Black long-tailed Kevlar coat, dark blue gambeson,
Quirk Class: Lower Epic, (Epic by his nature, lower because of his current limits)
Operator Level: B-
Growth: Demonic (Give you one guess why)
Ayako Inukai- the adopted sister
Bright in both mind and personality, she tries hard to get her "brother" to become more a part of the world, rather than closing himself off in the dark. Gets well with almost anyone, but don't let that make you think that she just accepts everything. She is a lot stronger than most would assume. Looks generally normal: Black hair, slender, you know, a typical Japanese schoolgirl. Her most striking feature is her eyes, which are brown with a thin ring of electric blue around the iris.
Quirk- Life Connection: Ayako can sense the bioenergy of living things and manipulate it if she can touch them.
Techniques:
Power Punch: controlling her own bioenergy, she can temporarily strengthen her body at any point. Probably can go to double her normal strength. Still, that's far from superhuman, and only for a little burst.
Equipment: none
Quirk Class: Upper Utility
Operator Level: C+
Entries from this point can be considered Kai's notes.
Yuga Aoyama- the Sparkling Hero Candidate
Half French, Yuga presents a strong, confident, and sparkling personality. He's not a bad guy, but most people would judge his fascination with sparkling as a bit too much. I would say airhead, but it's all sparkles there.
Quirk: Navel Laser: he can shoot a powerful beam of energy from his belly button as the name implies. As his usage goes up, his stomach hurts worse and worse.
Equipment: Sparkle Belt: a belt with a large lens that helps focus his power
Quirk Class: Middle Weapon
Operator Level: C+ due to accuracy
Momo Yaoyorozu- Materia
Smart, sensible, otherwise typical girl who is disgusted with monsters. Agreeable. High level of knowledge about materials and simple machines.
Quirk: Creation: able to convert fat into non-organic materials ranging from single pieces to devices of more complicated composition. Appears to be limited more by knowledge and available convertible mass than anything else. Expansion: Test for isotopic production.
Quirk Class: Mid Epic. Could even reach mythic if isotope test works out.
Operator Class: B
Growth: Knowledge-based, therefore probably medium. she seems like a good studier.
Tenya Iida- Maj-sack
Maj-sack who cares about rules to a very annoying degree. Book smart, but not necessarily people smart. From a family of heroes.
Quirk: Engine (wow, creative, but then again, what else would you name it?): he has engines on his legs that increase his speed. Exact mechanics unknown. Possibly enhanceable by direct operation. Requires research.
Equipment: none, so far.
Quirk Class: Upper Utility
Operator Class: C
Growth: probably burst type, as engines get enhanced
Minoru Mineta- the class pervert, or "The Grapist"
Really doesn't try to hide his perversion despite wanting to get close to girls. Reward in training with acting lessons, if not actual advice on talking to girls. Impeccable aim, though. Unreasonable amount of skill placed into someone with a horrible personality. Reason for extreme dwarfism unknown.
Quirk: "Pop Off": Replaces hair with removable spheres that are incredibly sticky to all things except himself, in which case he bounces. Instantly grow back. Definite nuances.
Quirk Class: Lower Weapon
Operator Class: B-
Ochaco Uraraka- gravity girl
"Not dating Midoriya." Apparently doesn't realize how she is around him. Definitely will become Ayako's target under Daisy Initiative (basically being Cupid). Bubbly and innocent personality. That might not last long under duress, though to which direction is to be seen. Also slightly airheaded. Toughness remains to be seen.
Quirk: Zero Gravity: Quirk has developed pads on her fingertips that can nullify gravity of any object she touches with them. Cancellation requires her touching all pads together. Limited by mass currently affected. Useful for restraint, but has other possible applications. Must develop good equipment for her.
Quirk Class: Mid Utility
Operator Class: C
Growth Rate: Mundane, slow
Izuku Midoriya- the White Knight, One Punch Kid
Called "Deku" by Bakugo, this guy seems to be pretty tough. Simple minded, but tough. As evidenced by the cost of using his Quirk, he is not averse to sacrificing himself to do good. Good candidate for head of the White Knight faction. Quick thinker, as evidenced by the pitch incident in the Quirk Apprehension test. "Not dating Uraraka"
Quirk: unnamed: General physical enhancement Quirk. However, he is unable to control himself, and self-destructs under full power. Lack of control due to late blooming. Cause for late Quirk attainment unknown. Possibilities: artificial or passable Quirk. However, trust should be built before asking further questions. Answer determines growth path.
Quirk Class: Upper Weapon. Arguably Epic, but the cost knocks it down. Depending on current use, he could have four to twenty uses before becoming useless. Supplement with equipment.
Growth rate: slow
Katsuki Bakugo- the loose cannon
Appears to have no personality other than anger and hating Midoriya, calling him "Deku." Classic Quirk Supremacist. Requires adjustment, but withheld until further need.
Quirk: Explosion: produces explosive substance from his hands and is able to detonate at will. Capable of short bursts of speed or even flight. Possible expansion: to be determined. Limitation: he's an idiot with regards to accepting new information or respecting opponents enough to not underestimate them. Death likely upon first real combat.
Quirk class: Upper Weapon. Enhanceable by equipment.
Tsuyu Asui- frog girl
Tends to be straight to the point, and a realist. Good girl. Eyes can be a little unsettling, since she blinks at a slower rate due to frog traits. Over all, good asset.
Quirk: Frog (duh): capable of doing many things frogs can do, including hopping, tongue extension, and sticking to walls. Further frog powers remain to be seen, as imitative morphic Quirks tend to have broad traits.
Quirk Class: Mid Utility, or Imitative Morphic
Growth: slow
Shoto Todoroki- Thermo? Frostfire? work on it
Quiet, but confident and powerful. Seems to have a hard time socializing, but that is perfectly understandable. Approach and ask if old flame face needs killing. And get this guy to crack a smile. Lastly, resist all urges to call him Zuko.
Quirk: Half hot, half cold: generates cold/ice on his right side, and heat/fire on the left. Judging by family, limited by his own Quirk hitting him as he uses it- overheating for fire, and hypothermia for ice. Expansion- get this guy to use both at the same time.
Quirk Class: Peak Weapon
Growth: unknown
Kyouka Jiro- Pulse
Quiet, cold, calm. Seems reliable. Likely musical talent considering Quirk synergy.
Quirk: Earphone Jack- dual-function Quirk. Jacks dangling from her earlobes can plug into objects to either passively listen, or channel sound pulses through them.
Quirk Class: Lower Weapon
Growth: Enhance with equipment
Denki Kaminari- Taser Man- Taser Face if I'm annoyed
Not bright, but brave. Likely to clown around.
Quirk: Electrification- body-limited electrogenesis. Must find limits and expand ranged options. And get this man a railgun.
Quirk Class: Mid-weapon
Hitoshi Shinso- The Negotiator
Quiet, but good personality. Easy to get along with. Understands what it is like to be judged for Quirk nature
Quirk: Brainwashing- by getting someone to verbally respond to him, he can control them. Brilliant for deescalation. Requires direct hearing- main limitation.
Quirk Class- Peak Weapon- requires mental Quirk for resistance.
Path to enhancement: The Art of Quips a la Spiderman, physical training, and some equipment
Shota Aizawa: Eraserhead, or Aizawa-sensei, homeroom teacher
The only good teacher in Japan, as far as I know. Holds his students to high standards that are less Quirk-based and more utility-based. In other words, if they aren't going to be useful and good as heroes, then he will not entertain their dreams and expel them. Yet, he is merciful if merit is shown, as the Apprehension test showed. Does not like the spotlight, unlike some heroes.
Quirk: Erase: can erase Quirks of anyone he is looking at. Limited by dry eyes. Remedy unlikely or unknown.
Quirk Class: Lower Epic. Would be higher, but morphic Quirks cannot be targeted.
Growth rate: unlikely, as he is an adult.
Equipment:
Capture weapon scarf- controlled through unknown means (likely by thought, but movement mechanism unknown) able to ensnare targets
Goggles- hide current erasure target and slow dry eye symptoms marginally. Improvements pending.
Hizashi Yamada- Present Mic, English teacher
Radio show host with the personality to match. Probably addicted to energy drinks, too. Likes to drop surprises on people, and likes realism in hero training, judging by the entrance exam as he hosted it. One of the teachers better suited to handling me.
Quirk: Voice- extreme magnification of his voice. As Emitter class, it has an off switch, luckily. He's not Black Bolt.
Quirk Class: Upper Weapon
Equipment: Directional speaker system- Allows for directing his voice into one direction.
This is partly for bookkeeping, and partly because I naturally was looking at the Hero Academia wiki to confirm information, and figured that it might be nice to have this page for similar reasons. It also allows me to comment on people's powers and applications through the metrics I made in the Quirkology chapter. As I develop more mechanics into the story, expect more things to come into this auxiliary section.
