Unable to Escape

The sound of the harmonious conversation and the frenzy of the party could still be heard from where Lilia and the other three were currently standing. But somehow, only the atmosphere in this place was different. As if this place was isolated from the outside world.

Under the bright moonlight, there was only silence in this serene green garden. The words coming out of Robert and Sylvia as they blamed Lilia made the atmosphere even more uncomfortable.

Fortunately, Richard was a man who had dealt with double-faced people for years. Even if he felt uncomfortable, he was still polite and friendly to his business partner.

Richard said to Robert, "Yes, please don't blame Miss Lilia. It's true that you two have helped my daughter and the Irwan family is really grateful for that. Mr. Robert and Mrs. Sylvia, shall we go to the back hall and have a cup of tea together?"
