Beth was deep asleep when she heard someone humming a tune beside her. It was a beautiful melody and an oddly familiar one at that. She couldn't place it, and in her sleep, she didn't bother to. His voice was comforting, almost like the gentle warmth of the early morning sun on a cold winter's day.
A calming smell surrounded her, much like a comforting mixture of white garden rose and burning oil lamp. She could feel his hands gliding through her skin, applying something warm to it. She felt her wounds tingle and warm up before going numb. This must have been how he had healed her before while she was hurt, Beth thought to herself.
