Beth paused, keeping the bun down. "Won't the general look for you?" She asked, raising her brows. "What if someone finds out that you came here?"
One-sixty-five said, shaking her head, "The general has gone out with some minor gods to the E districts. He will not be back until the morning."
The girl reached out to tap her hand reassuringly, encouraging her to continue what she was doing. With a relieved sigh, Beth continued her dinner, her mouth watering as she put the meat bun to her lips again. She chewed slowly, enjoying every bit of the moment. It was hard to come by, after all, she thought, lifting the soup spoon to her mouth.
