Aziel shrugged it off until he looked forward, and a familiar interface came into his view.
[New Quest has arrived]
L Main Quest: Rescue Oliver Drake
L Rewards: +20 Stat points
+500 EXP
L Difficulty: Impossible
L Penalty: User will lose the ability to use mana for three months.
"Really... B-but last night he was with us?"
Aziel's eyes widened in disbelief as he thought.
"And not only that, this is the first time I have received a main quest, not to mention the difficulty is i-impossible."
His face turned pale as cold sweat trickled down his cheeks.
Despite being an impossible quest, he would receive a penalty if it wasn't completed.
That was the first time something like that happened. Previously, when the quest difficulty was insane, he wasn't given a penalty.
But now the situation was different.
"What can we do... after all, it is a fucking Main Quest," Aziel internally cursed the system for giving such a quest with a penalty he could easily do without.
As if it was that easy.
"But... I don't even know where he is or who kidnapped him. How the heck will I rescue him?"
Soon the break was over, and Aziel walked towards his classroom, lost in thoughts, tension and panic visible on his face.
He settled down in his seat, his mind racing through different ideas.
"Telepathy?"
Not possible.
"Call...?"
Are you an idiot?
As he pondered, a feminine voice called out to him.
"Aziel?"
No response.
"Azieel?"
Nothing.
"Azieeel?"
Aziel snapped out of his thoughts as he saw Mrs. Zara calling out for him.
He quickly stood up and composed himself.
"You seemed lost in your own world, what's the matter?" Zara interrogated.
"N-No professor, I was just thinking how I can summon a high-grade Apparition."
"Oh, is that so... Okay, tell me, have you found your answer?"
"Not yet."
Apparition, a ghostly figure that can be summoned at will by those who possess the power to do so. They are neutral entities, remnants of souls enchanted by ancient enchantment, neither inherently good nor evil, and their actions depend entirely on the intentions of their master or summoner.
Though, Aziel was far from summoning one.
"Try to think from their perspective, like what if you were one of them? With whom would you like to work?"
Aziel nodded and sat down in his seat, repeating two words again and again.
"Their perspective... their perspective... their perspective..."
Like that, he kept repeating those words until the last lecture ended.
As soon as the last lecture ended, he rushed out of the room and went to a café with not many customers.
He ran from the classroom while the professor was still present, but he didn't care as for now, he had more pressing matters at hand.
Aziel casually ordered a coffee, which instantly popped out of nowhere in the middle of the roundtable.
A faint smile was visible on his face.
While sipping the coffee, he refined the plan he had made during Academy hours.
Yes, he finally came up with a plan.
Finishing the coffee, he proceeded to head towards a place.
A place he wasn't familiar with.
An electronic store.
He entered the store and scanned all the electronics present there.
Within a few seconds, he found what he came there for and headed towards his home.
Zephyr was still in the Academy, as he was a top-ranked student, so he would get extra lessons and training.
Polishing a sharp knife, Aziel opened the package of what he bought from the store and, for what seemed like a few minutes, admired its beauty.
It was a laptop, which he connected to his phone.
But why did he buy a laptop?
The reason was simple: he would track Oliver's phone location.
But how?
There was no other choice than hacking.
But did he know how to hack?
Obviously not. He wasn't even sure if the method would work in this world or not.
But would he lose?
"Nah, I'd win."
Because...
"Intuitive Intellect."
From his previous world, Aziel had heard a lot about a powerful hacking method known as SIM cloning.
This process was like a magic trick, but only for a hacker.
The SIM card wasn't just a small piece of plastic, but a treasure chest of secrets, storing a unique identity called IMSI and encryption keys that let users connect to their network.
Aziel began his quest by gathering the precious data from Oliver's SIM.
He could physically swipe the SIM card.
But it wasn't possible for now.
So he deployed malware known as 'Neurablock' to infiltrate Oliver's device, just with the help of LINE.
Now, with the knowledge of hacking thanks to his skill, he extracted the IMSI and encryption keys from the original SIM card.
It was much like unlocking a high-tech safe.
The next step was where the magic happened.
Aziel copied the stolen data and etched it onto a new SIM card, which he also bought from the store, creating a perfect clone.
That new SIM card could now mimic the original, allowing him to slip into the network as if he were the genuine cardholder.
Although the method he used was partial cloning, it was enough to stir trouble.
Now, with the cloned SIM, he could almost do anything.
Make calls, send messages, and access various other services.
One of which was GPS. He quickly turned GPS on and then broke the cloned SIM, but not before viewing Oliver's Exter account and password.
During the whole process, a grin remained etched across his face.
It was like he was really getting the feel of being a hacker.
Next, he opened a website on Exter used for tracking phones and signed in with Oliver's account.
Finally...
He could see the live location of Oliver's smartphone.
But for some reason, it wasn't changing, and it was outside the Academy grounds, which in itself was a big problem as even the Academy was as big as a city already.
Now that he had tracked the location, it was time for his second move.
He quickly retrieved his phone from his pocket and dialed a specific person.
This was only the starting phase of his plans; The real thing was yet to come.
