after the "incident" I spent my second day casually strolling around the capital, seeing new things around, getting some meat skewers, it's these little moments… that we should cherish the most

for at the end of the day those who lose themselves in pursuit of power, will wake up one day to find they missed out on a lot…

Alexander : "did you have fun on your days off?"

Colt [ smiling] : "yes, I had a lot of fun, I learned a lot of things too, thank you Alexander"

Alexander : "good, then prepare yourself for a long journey… we're heading home"

it took about three months by carriage, we were guarded by adventurers the whole way and yet, I couldn't relax, if an ogre or an earth dragon were to attack, or an orc horde, these people won't stand a chance

after we finally arrived Alexander said I was on vacation for the duration of our stay, which is a month

[ Colt reaches his house standing right at the door, hesitant]

Mark [ tender warm voice] : "welcome back ,son"

Clarissa [ in a bit of a teary voice] : "we missed you"

wait… I actually did miss them… for the first time in ages… I felt something good

I closed my eyes and… it was the first time I hugged back

after a teary reunion, I noticed something that I never saw coming

both names relate to light and brightness

if Mark knew what I was doing he couldn't have come up with better names

if I didn't know better, it would seem like he's referring to the future I'll create

are you kidding me???

fifteen days later Clarissa gave birth… it was Clarice

thankfully, there was no need for me to step in

I spent the next fifteen days watching over my new little sister

one thing to know, the old domain lord has retired again and now his son is in control, luckily, he's just like his father
