First day at school

Part 10.

I love being with them because this family is full of warmth. They always gather in the dining room or living room just to tell their daily activities.

"Vira ... let's all eat together!" call Aunt Nur.

"Just eat in the kitchen with Aunt Tin!" I politely refused.

"Yes, whatever! You are as comfortable as you are!" Auntie said.

"What is the name of this dish, Vir?" asked Uncle Iwan, while pointing to the plate.

"This one is stir-fried tempeh and that's an egg omelet, Oh!" I explained.

"Simple food, but mouthwatering!" Praise Uncle Iwan.

"You cook, don't you, Vir?" asked Sis Mila.

"Yes, Sis!" I said.

"Sometimes teach Suster, ya!" she asked.

"Okay-Sis!"

"Halah, village food like this is just messed up," said Sis Maya angrily.

"Mayaa ... you should learn to cook too with them!" said Om Iwan.

"Ugh, why bother, there's Aunt Tin," said Sis Maya, pouting her lips.

"You... if you say it, there's always the answer," said Aunt Nur.

I deliberately woke up early, because I wanted to help Aunt Tin clean up the kitchen. Feeling something is missing if it doesn't help. I have considered her as my adoptive mother after my aunt.

"Vira, why are you up so early?" asked Aunt Tin.

"Yes, Aunty, it's the first day of school, so afraid of being late!" I answered.

"It's impossible to be late, Mr. Ahmad will take you by car!" she said again.

"Hahh ... in the car ride?" I ask no belief.

"Yes, Mr. Ahmad has recovered and is working again!" she answered.

"How do you know if I'm being delivered?"

"Last night when you were asleep, Mr. Ahmad came to be delivered by my son. Then met with Mrs. Nur, and she gave me the assignment to pick you up!" explained at length.

"Why don't you just take a bus, Aunty? I don't want to bother Mr. Ahmad," I protested.

"Vira ... this is an order from Mrs. Nur!"

"Oh, yes-yes." I don't ask anymore.

At seven o'clock in the morning, I get ready to go to school. Meanwhile, Sis Maya and Sis Mila just woke up. They went downstairs to jog in the yard.

"I'm Mr. Ahmad," said a middle-aged man in a black shirt.

"I, Vira, sir! Auntie Nur's niece."

"Vira ... this is pocket money for a week! You have to save money if you have any left in your savings, okay?" Aunt Nur was already standing behind me.

"Thank you, Auntie! Vira has brought lunch

too, here!" I explained.

"Hm... good! So Mama doesn't have to bother anymore to give pocket money!" Sis Maya squealed with a cynical tone.

"What the hell, Sis, the morning is already late!" Sis Mila protested to her sister.

Aunt Nur did not respond to Sis Maya's chatter, because she was preparing to go to the shop with Uncle Iwan and me.

I just found out from my aunt that Sis Maya is a model at a well-known agency in this city. Meanwhile, Sis Mila is still a student at a state university.

Sis Maya's face and body are beautiful and well-maintained, that's why it's her asset to make her a famous model. I didn't even know that her career was that great, because she rarely watches television, and doesn't have social media.

First day at school...

In the car, Auntie took out a flat object similar to Triana's. An android type phone was given to me by my aunt.

"This is a cell phone for you, take care and keep it safe! Don't let it be stolen by a friend!" I still can't believe my eyes.

"Don't be so dumb, it's normal," said Aunt.

"In it already stored family numbers. Including the numbers of Mr. Ahmad and your mother!" Uncle Ivan said.

I can only say Thank you in a muffled voice. Aunt Nur taught me briefly how to use the cell phone.

Fifteen minutes later, I arrived in front of the school. I got out of the car, then kissed the hands of Aunt and Uncle Iwan. Mr. Ahmad promised to pick me up from school.

It feels like a dream to be able to attend this favorite high school. Especially in the shuttle by car. Being given a new cell phone too, this is really a streak of luck, I said in my heart.

"Viraaa...!" a voice calling my name from outside fence.

"Ehh... surprised," I said

Triana ran while carrying a black plastic package. She smiled as she said.

"Whose car are you in?"

"Ooh, that's Aunt Nur's car! Now I live in their house!" I explained.

"What's with that, like people just want to move?" I asked, pointing to the black package.

"This is for you! Souvenirs from out of town!" Triana said.

"Come on, let's talk later, we'll find a class and a seat first!" take me.

"Hm, you already know where our class is!" Triana asked.

"Oalah ... yes too! I don't know yet!" I said.

"It's better if we gather in front of the hall! There will be an open for new students," said Triana.

"Oh yeah, while you're waiting, tell me. How can you live with that rich auntie!" Triana collects my promise.

We sat on an empty bench at the side of the hall. I looked at my watch, only five minutes left before the bell rang. I started to tell a short story until Triana was moved. My best friend prays that I will feel at home with my aunt and my jealous cousin.

Teett... teett... teett.

The school bell rang three times, Triana and I got up from our seats. Then join the line in the field with other friends. This school has a very large yard and many classes.

I still can't believe I can stand here, because usually, my school used to have a narrow yard and not many students.

"Viraa... don't daydream a lot, you won't hear any information from the principal!" remember Triana.

"Oh yes, sorry," I said as I heard directions from the principal.

The first aspect was boring because the new friends were still stiff. They don't greet each other, they just ignore me when I talk to them. While Triana moved to another group. We were divided into ten groups of ten people.

Thankfully the recess bell rang, and I immediately took out the lunch I brought this morning. Hm... eating food while turning on the new cellphone feels really something.

To be continued...
