Harley has always been one who has been by herself. With no sense to interacting with others she finds comfort in her personal space. When she's left with no choice but to get a roommate who would share her apartments, what happens when a silly misunderstanding on the rent-an-appart app gets her mistaken for a guy and her supposed Roommate Grey Wilson for a girl. Not only is she infuriated by this mistake, she learns that Grey Wilson is more than he lets out on, the son of the city's famous billionaire.
Roommates 7
Harley stared at him as he cleared up his relationship with the girl living opposite her. She's his older sister.
"Oh." she muttered.
"See, it was an absurd thing to say, Skylar being my girl friend..." he shuddered.
"So you mistook my room for your sister's and you're here now." she stated out and nodded walking towards the door.
"Since you're not unconscious, I think you should head to skylar room instead." she said unhooking the locks.
Grey watched her motioning him to leave her room, not in the bit disturbed that he was injured.
"You really are kicking me out, even in this state, wow. Hospitality: zero, Red: one." he said dryly.
"I don't have to host a stranger I'm not comfortable with." she argued.
"Oh come on. I'm the least harmful person you can ever know." he defended.
"Yet the most annoying." she added.
Grey seemed tired from all the bickering, he opened his mouth to say something but clamped them shut again.
"You know what if you're going to go through the hassle of dragging me out then be my guest." He bargained but she frowned instead. "Look, I just need some place to rest out and I don't think Skylar would welcome me into her room anyway." He narrated.
"And your only thought was that I would?" She asked with her brow raised but grey just shrugged.
"Either way you need to leave." she repeated firmly crossing her hands over her chest.
"You're not being serious. Come on Red." he pleaded.
"I need to study and you being around is not going to help." she said and Grey opened his mouth to defend himself but she beats him to it.
"The Library indicated how much of a nuisance you would be." she said.
"I swear I won't make a single noise." He pleaded again, his brown eyes full of plea. Harley looked away before she was hooked into his eyes.
"Fine. If you make a single sound I'm calling security on you." she said and closed the door.
Grey imitated my lips are sealed sign. All of a sudden she was conscious that a boy was in her room, being in an all-girl high school hadn't helped around that much. She tried to arrange her reading space without acting way too nervous.
"Can I get some blankets?" He asked and she glared at him for talking.
"No."
"Ouch, do you have a first aid kit?" he asked again and she slammed her palms down on the desk.
"Geez do you ever shut up?" She said painfully.
"Sorry, but I need to stitch my self up." he apologized pushing himself to his feet.
Now that he was standing next to her she felt small, his towering height made her feel like an ant. He was probably a 6'3, a huge 6'3 at that. Looking away, she pointed to the bathroom with her head facing downwards.
"Thanks." he whispered very close to her eyes before marching away.
She stood in there, her mind going haywire, she had just sent a boy to her bathroom. Her eyes widened when she realized what he must have seen in there. Her underwear that she had spread out in the open, he was going to see it. Her face turned red as she awaited a snarky remark from him but she heard nothing.
She opened her mouth to ask if he had seen the box but stopped when she heard the sound of the box clicking open.
Harley falls back into her chair and takes out her notes from her back when she heard him curse loudly.
"Fucking hell."
"Ah shit." he continued as Harley's grip on her notebook tightened.
He promised to be quiet. She said to herself as she rose to her feet.
The dudes in pain, leave him alone. Another voice in her head said. Deciding she should probably check upon him. She barged into the bathroom with no obligation to knock on the door and a slight gasp escaped her lips when she saw his bruised form.
Seating half-naked on her toilet seat, Grey had taken off his hoodie while he cleaned up the wound on the side of his head. Her eyes raked over his defined chest and well-toned abs which were now had patched of purple and faint blue.
"You should really knock." he said hissing as he pressed the cold pack to his side.
Her gaze snapped back to his face which now contoured in pain. She watched as he carelessly applies antiseptic to his shoulder cut.
"Do you know how to do anything right?" she mumbled walking towards him and grabbing the cotton pad and the bottle away from him.
Grey was surprised by her action as she lowers her self down to his level to clean his wound properly. She wondered what exactly he got himself into to get himself this injured.
"Thanks." he choked out as she pressed the wet pad to his shoulder.
Harley managed to clean up his wound and bandage him up in less than twenty minutes. Her first aid class was not for nothing. His face on the other hand was a difficult thing, His lips was less swollen and his eyes had dried blood on them.
"This is going to be hard." she whispered leaning in closer to take a better look.
Grey watched as she got closer to him his scent enveloping his space and her breath fanning just above his lips.
This motions sent chills through his body, when she poured a little antiseptic to the pad she glanced down at his face. Her breath hitched in her throat when she realized how close she was to him.
Lost, that was what she was. In his eyes, brown eyes that held depth. Where she didn't want to fall in. He was staring back at her with the same intensity, his eyes on her face which trailed down slowly to her parted lips.
She waited in anticipation for his lips to touch hers but it never happened, instead she heard him clear his throat and she snapped out of her thought.
"I know I look that great but can you stop ogling at me." he said when she blinked once then twice. "You are drooling right there." he teased touching the side of his lips.
"Shut up." she muttered pressing hard on his wound which cause him to curse loudly.
