Chapter 62

Gabriel's POV

She was trying to escape!

The thought came to my mind and I quickly followed to try to catch her, but Danna escaped even faster and she jumped through the window and fled to the other side of the street.

"We can't let her get away!" Angel shouted.

"I'll get her."

I told the warriors behind me to go the other way and stop Danna on the opposite side. Then Angel and I went after her together.

Because of her injuries, Danna's speed slowly slowed down. When she was about to leave into the woods, the warriors I brought appeared in front of Danna, and they blocked Danna's escape route.

We had Danna surrounded.

"You can't escape, Danna, give up." I shouted.

But Danna did not care what I said, she suddenly burst out a bizarre laughter, this laughter in the night especially sharp.

Many warriors had covered their ears.

"I won't give up! Never!" Danna screamed.
