The Meeting
[Damon's POV]
I found myself checking in at a hotel, but not to spend the night, it was for my meeting.
A meeting that should've come way earlier, but for some unknown reason, perhaps of fear of me, or fear of my step mother, had been avoided.
Either way, it was a long time coming, and as I paid for the room, I went in and prepared myself to meet up with the criminals, my henchmen as I often referred to them as.
After I declined my phone call with them, I'd arranged for a meeting with them, and here I was.
It was the evening of the day I'd met up with Michael, and I chose to meet up there, because I didn't want them to have any information of my whereabouts.
It was kind of ironic however, my house address could clearly be seen on the magazines I had my face published on, but I guess my estate's security was well to do.
I waited patiently in the room, rocking my usual face mask and hoodie.
