WHAT REALLY HAPPENED?

Chia came home using a taxi. She had too much groceries to carry. The woman entered to ask the security for help to bring things to the kitchen. The security room was empty even though the man was always sitting and guarding there.

"Where is he?" Without any help the woman took out all the groceries from the taxi and took them to the kitchen. Although there were many, she had no choice except to go back and forth.

"Just watch out! I will complain to Ms. Bella. He left his job when no one was here." Chia was still grumbling without knowing what had happened.

Three times back and forth to the kitchen the security guard did not appear either. "Instead of looking for him, I better prepare food for Ozora. The girl must be hungry. If I'm lucky, her adoptive father will be good to me too." Chia warmed the food that was already there. Although she was also hungry, she wanted to prioritize Ozora who was sick. She repeatedly knocked on the door but no reply or door opened. Finally Chia opened the door and saw Ozora's body on the floor.

"Oh Lord!" Chia still thought that the girl had fainted. But she was more surprised when the blanket was uncovered and she saw the poor girl's naked body.

Chia called Bella but her boss didn't pick up her cell phone. She didn't have Ernest's number either. There was no other choice. Chia walked into Bella's office and looked for Jacob's number.

"Hello!" Jacob's voice came from the other side.

"S-sir, Ozora…"

"What happened with Ozo?"

"Ozo…Ozo…." Chia's body trembled. She could not say anything because she was too shocked.

"I'll be right there." Chia's trembling voice convinced Jacob that something bad had happened to the poor girl.

"Docter, please check the next patient. My daughter is in trouble." Jacob handed the task to the young doctor who became his assistant. Suddenly, Jacob's heart exploded and Ozora's face filled his head.

Jacob arrived at the agape orphanage and rushed to his adopted daughter's room. Chia was still sitting beside Ozora who was wrapped by the blanket. "What happened with my child?" Jacob's voice filled the bedroom. Jacob panicked even more when he found his daughter lying on the floor. "What happened? Why is my daughter on the floor?"

"I don't know, sir. After I came home from the supermarket I delivered food for Ozora. When I entered she was already like this. I really don't know anything, sir."

Jacob wanted to see his daughter's condition by removing the blanket but Chia immediately stopped him. "Don't, sir!" Chia's voice took Jacob by surprise.

"What's really going on? I just wanted to move Ozora to bed so I could check on my daughter."

"I found Ozora naked, sir. We'd better take Ozo to the hospital."

"Not dressed? What do you mean?" Jacob had not managed to digest Chia's words but the woman's suggestion was very appropriate. They had to take Ozora's body to the hospital. Medics will check what really happened.

Jacob let another doctor take over Ozora's check up. He's a surgeon, while Ozora's case was different from that of his patients. Jacob didn't want to sit down because he was too worried about Ozora. The man had also contacted Aster so that his wife would come to accompany him.

"Chia, why is she naked? What really happened?" Jacob still pressed the kitchen maid with questions even though she didn't know anything. "Ozo should have had a picnic with the other kids, right? Why is she in the orphanage?" Jacob's endless questions made Chia distraught to answer them.

"Since last night Ozora had been sick, sir. She was nauseous and wouldn't eat. That's why she didn't go on the picnic. It's my fault, sir. I went shopping while she was resting. I should have accompanied Ozora at the orphanage."

"Why didn't anyone tell me she was sick? Why are you silent?"

"Ozo forbade me, sir. She didn't want to bother you and your family."

"Oh my, Ozora!" Jacob rubbed his face roughly. He regretted his decision to let Ozora stay in the orphanage. Now he knew the reason. Ozora refused to live with them not because she felt at home in an orphanage but because the girl didn't feel worthy to bother them.

"Honey, what happened?" Aster's panicked voice was heard when her steps stopped right beside Jacob.

"I don't know anything yet. The doctor was checking her."

After waiting for some time the doctor finally came out and approached Jacob. "Doctor Northman, we'd better talk this over in my room."

"Okay, doctor." Jacob and Aster walked in the footsteps of the man in white.

"What's wrong with my daughter, doctor?" Jacob hadn't sat down yet but he had asked a question.

"It seems that your adopted kid had been sexually abused. I found tear in her hymen and some wounds which I believe are the result of sex abuse."

"Sex abuse?" Jacob and Aster scrambled to answer. This was a very harsh reality. Why Ozora? Since childhood the girl has suffered.

"Are you sure, doctor?" Jacob asked again. He really felt sorry for his poor daughter.

"Very sure, Doctor Northman. Ozora should be treated in the hospital first until her physical condition heals. After that I suggested that she be accompanied to a teen psychologist. She needs professional assistance."

"I understand, doctor. I definitely do what's best for my daughter. Thank you for your help."

Aster and her husband entered the room where Ozora was lying. There were bruises on the girl's legs, hands, even forehead. Aster held Ozora's hand and tears were already streaming down her face. How unfortunate the fate of their adopted child. Aster really couldn't bear to see Ozora.

"Chia, hurry home and report this incident to Ernest and Bella. I want them to find out who did it. If they don't find it, then I will act and withdraw all funds channeled there."

"O-okay, sir." Chia replied in fear. Right now Jacob's anger was at its peak. Chia must immediately notify the owner of the orphanage.
