<Inspect > A very useful ability, especially for someone like a host. Can find out the information about the target. Can be used on Adept rank beings and lower.

As soon as he read their descriptions, the complete information of the [Essence Harmonization Technique] and [Inspect] appeared in his mind.

Though the latter wasn't complicated because as long as he had Refined Energy (RE), he would be able to use it.

The [Essence Harmonization Technique] was different, however. To use it, he needed to first memorize the pathways of his spiritual veins and then circulate the spirit energy or the system's refined energy through them according to the instructions.

"It's nothing. I just remembered something." Eric said with a smile and gently caressed her cheek.

Elsa also knew about Luke and thought he must be worried about it. So, she placed her hand on top of his and gently said, "Everything will be alright. No need to worry about it."

"Hmm." Eric nodded.

When he read the [Essence Harmonization Technique]'s description, especially the bit about the system's Refined Energy, recalled the name of his system [Devil's Chaos Refinement System], and thought about what the system's requirement for the additional rewards was, he realized the reason the system wanted him to have sex with a woman was so it could absorb her yin energy and refine it into a form that it could use.

His guess was proven true when he saw the [Refined Energy] section on his status. Then he saw there was no refined energy, and that was the reason he had sighed in disappointment.

'Couldn't it have left some energy for me so I could begin my cultivation?' He complained in his heart.

After a moment, he thought, 'Well, at least there is no risk of it becoming dormant now.'

Then he glanced at Elsa, 'As for energy, I can do it again with her… after resting for a while.'

The sound of someone knocking on the door sounded, followed by Leah's voice, "Elsa, open the door."

Elsa jumped from the bed like a startled rabbit, his expression full of panic.

Eric sighed in his heart, got down from the bed, and hugged her before she could finish, "Shh, no need to panic. You dress up. I will go talk to her."

Saying this, he quickly put on his clothes and went out of the room, closing the door behind him.

Elsa knew although Leah wouldn't object to their relationship, if she found out they had already done the deed, something people normally should do after the marriage, she would get angry, and this was why she was panicking. Also, her embarrassment also played a role in it.

Before opening the door, Eric sniffed himself and smiled wryly. The smell of sex was clear on his body. However, because he could do nothing about it right now, he took a deep breath and opened the door.

"Why is there no need?! You did—" Leah almost shouted.

"Because I'm going to marry her." Eric said aloud, silencing her momentarily. Then taking advantage of it, he continued, "Since we are going to marry, it doesn't matter if we did it now. You are wise enough to know all this. So, please calm down."

Leah stared at him blankly for a few seconds. She then closed her eyes and took a deep breath, nodding, "You are right. I need to calm down."

"You should go home now, Eric. We'll talk tomorrow." She said before walking toward Elsa's room.

"Aunt Leah. Please don't blame or scold—"

"You don't need to worry about that." Leah interrupted him.
