On the 8th december to 2009, my elder sister's birthday which was so close to Christmas so, we decided to travel out to the the village in order to visit grandma and grandpa.
I just woken up when my mom came into my room and told me that we were going to travel today so I should prepare my belongings and we would go at nine o'clock.
But me being me,the over pampered and spoilt child, I decided to sleep for some time and when I woke up it was already 8:30 so I just skipped all makeup and I headed to the shower and then brush my teeth.
Before I was done packing, I heard my mom call out to me." I'm finished now, no escape", I mumbled and my mom called out to me again"Tina, yes mom I answered .where are you? she asked. Mom I'm coming .I said and I quickly stuffed up my remaining clothes in my traveling bag and left the room before she could come in.
After that,I helped dad to put all the luggage into the boots of of the car. Dad then sent me to call the butler of our house sir Jones, to come and see him.
Dad spoke to him and about their salary and their days of leave then he warned them that they should not leave the house open when they leave for their day of.
I was by his side all the time with my headphones because I didn't want to go inside the house since I was scared of moms scolding.
Dad understood since we faced the same thing. In less the five minutes ,we were all in the car :I ,my sister Lisa, along with my pet cat and we were at the back seat and Dad was driving and mom was at the front seat.
We usually took a plane or maybe a boat to the village but we just felt like taking a new car so so that we could stop at some shops to get gifts for my grandparents.
It was a long drive and we were getting bored some hours into the drive, I was already on my headphone. Soon I was feeling very hungry because we didn't eat at home.So I whispered to Lisa "psss, are you feeling hungry too " . Her answer was affirmative , so I signalled dad that I was hungry and he did his work perfectly. "Baby are you hungry, because I'm hungry and I really want to eat" he told mom and then mom agreed .
Wow,that was fast, I said. After we drove for 30 minutes more, we reached an eatery,we ordered different food like hamburger and also some sandwiches while mom and dad went to the supermarkets to get some things for grandma and grandpa such as their winter clothes because it was really going to be called in that part of the country later, we had some salad to eat and then we got into the car again and after about 15 minutes the car started acting strange.
The cars whooshed and Screeched like it did not have a control.my father tried as much as possible to control it, but the car wouldn't stop so,he pushed the brakes but that did not work either.
It was then that we realized that someone had tampered with our car and we went all going to die.
I Began to pray endlessly, I was not praying for myself I was praying for my parents and my sister she was too young to die and she had an amazing future ahead of her.
I could not even imagine my life without my parents, I was nothing without them but all my prayers didn't work as In a second, I was thrown out of the car with my pet cat by my sister and before I could say anything ,car blew up and I blacked out.
I'll never forget what my sister did for me. Even while still unconscious, I still felt a pain turge my chest .It was the pain of losing the ones you cared about ,the pain of being alone in this wicked evil world. Even life and fate had played a very wicked and cruel game on me and now I was stranded I didn't know what to do .
Tears sliped from my eyes,I could see vague images around me as I felt in into a fathomless darkness with no one to catch me no warmth, and no family.I never wanted to wake up.
Review............
On the 8th of December in 2009, a significant day for my family as it was my elder sister's birthday close to Christmas. We embarked on a journey to visit our grandparents in the village. Amidst the hustle of getting ready, I found myself rushing to pack and prepare for the trip. Little did we know that this seemingly ordinary day would take a terrifying turn when our car malfunctioned due to sabotage. In a moment of sheer bravery and sacrifice, my sister saved me from the impending danger before the car exploded, leaving me grappling with loss and uncertainty in its aftermath.
