My Path To Becoming A God-Slayer

There I was, standing, waiting to be judged, at the Altar of the Gods. “You, Mikaela, have been sentenced to Death Eternal for being a traitor.” At those words, I froze. Death Eternal. The punishment only the most serious of crimes would get. “What did I do wrong?” I asked. But I didn’t get an answer. Yet here I am, reincarnated. After regressing from the status of a deity to that of a mortal hundreds of thousands of years ago, Sung-Ho Chen has to survive in a ruined world, while learning the truth of the Constellations. Fighting through challenges, levelling up, gaining items and skills, authorities, but there seems to be an error. All challenges are set to Insanity-Level! How will he survive? I must find the truth behind it all. I must find what the Gods are hiding from me, and why they hate the humans so. And once I do, I will become the strongest, and create a new order, a fair order. My name will surpass the sun, the moon, and the Gods. Just you wait.

Chapter 16 - Lycaeon (1)

Sung-Ho looked perplexed. He wasn't usually this confused, but this boy's appearance in this place shocked him. A million questions were racing through his head, yet the boy's question made him only the more confused. Who was he? He should be asking that question.

Raising himself to him feet, he opened his mouth though he could answer his question. "My name is Sung-Ho. I come from Korea, where is this?" The boy raised an eyebrow. Of course, coming from Korea to here was nigh impossible. There was no way out.

"Now, my turn to ask questions. Where the hell are we, and who are you?" He asked, his eyes slightly narrowing, reaching for the sword at his hip. He entered a fighting stance, bending his knees and outstretching his arms.

The boy waved his hands. "I....not here to fight you. We are....continent of Lycaeon. I....Damien."

His English didn't seem good. The people of Lyceaon used a variant of English which wasn't the same, so naturally it was. Yet, the boy was a Ghost Walker. That meant something,a lot. If he was from Lycaeon....

But how were they on Lycaeon? That didn't make any sense whatsoever. Lycaeon was a lost nation, wiped from the face of the Earth. Yet, how were they able to delude even the gods into believing that they were gone. How?

This was big news, but if the people had been keeping their existence from the prying eyes of deities, then.....

He had no right to expose them.

Ghhhh....this was gonna be a hard secret to keep, because when a god wants to find something out, they find it out, no matter what. They get their avatar to do it for them, which could cause a massacre, depending on the god.

If it were, say, a god like [Lessor Lord Of The Woods], maybe. Probably not, however. The Lesser Lord didn't have much power when it came to matters like these.

If it were a major deity like [Asea], then yes. Asea was Queen. On a chess board, she held the highest power out of every God. You see, the God ranking went as follows:

1. [The Supreme Goddess] Asea

2. [Unknown] Mika

3. [The Goddess Of The Crimson Flame] True Name Unknown.

Mika's title was currently in the unknown, and the only person who knew it was Asea. Asea was his trusted friend.

Once, before she cast him out. Why? He knew not, yet his revenge was coming.

Sung-Ho shook his head, wiping the thoughts from his mind as Damien grabbed his hand.

"You....come. Give food and water to friends?" Damien questioned, pointing to the empty horizon. Yet there was nothing there, but there was. It didn't make sense. Squinting, Sung-Ho focused. He could see a city, just there, right where the boy was pointing.

Whatever. He would follow 'Damien', a random stranger who he'd never seen before, to an unknown city, full of strangers who could be out for the blood of gods.

What was there to lose?
