Janet didn't respond immediately. Nathaniel couldn't figure out what Janet meant. He said in a low voice, "If you are here for Xipil, I advise you to give up."
Janet picked up a glass of red wine and played with it. The wine was glowing with a ruddy luster, just like her red lips. "What do you mean?" Janet asked.
Since the two of them divorced, Janet had rarely talked to Nathaniel in a calm way. But now she put on a slight smile.
