Chapter 359

I stood there trying to contemplate if I should ask her or not, I should be able to find him without her help if I put my mind to it. Asking her would cut down time of the search and we all know that time was not what I have in excess now. But before I could ask her anything, to my surprise she spoke first,

"You could have easily told me you know, there was no need to go behind my back" immediately I heard the words that came out from her mouth, the first thought that plopped into my head was, ' what was she going on about this time around?.' I turned back to face her, she was still in the same position that I met her and was not looking in my direction. I hate that it looks like she had all the power in this situation, she looked so relaxed, unbothered and composed while I on the other hand, was already trying to control my emotions. 

"I do not know what you are about to accuse me of this time around but to be honest with you, I do not have time to listen to you spew false scenario that you concocted in your brain and which has no hint of reality" my words made me know that all hint of composure in me were gone, if not for what I had to do, I was ready for us to settle it all and at once, with whatever method she wants. I may not be a good fighter like she is but I knew I can take her down if it comes down to it.

"That is what everyone says when they are in the wrong right?. I would not have expected anything less from you " this time around she looked at me, I could see the rage brewing in her eyes, she was looking for someone to unleash her anger on and I was the only person that was available at the moment for her to do so. Why could I not have arrived later or earlier, anyone that would have gotten me out of this situation I was in,

The funny aspect was that I was also ready to give her a fight if that was what she wanted, it was long overdue. Maybe it would help us get rid of the wall that we have erected between us. I cracked my fingers, her eyes locked on what my hands were doing, she looked back up at me with a smile on her lips, it was obvious that she was having fun toying with me. I raised my brows at her challengingly, I pushed the thoughts of Donua, Leo and Boy to the back of my mind, maybe having this brawl with her would help me think better and clearly. It would also get my adrenaline rush going, it would not hurt to wipe that smile off her face and not have to apologize for it.
