Chapter 23 – Amanojaku’s Ending

Third person POV

 After that, Sha and Kuro go to help Saki, only to see her being pinned by the vice-principal, who is about to strike her with a golf club. Luckily, Sha uses his Shadow Manipulation to control the vice-principal's shadow, causing the latter to be restrained by it. Sha then freed the man from Amanojaku's control with his Shadow Cleansing ability. As a result of this, the vice-principal dropped the golf club and didn't know what happened or what he did. Kuro then helped Saki to stand up.

 "Sir, you're being controlled by a yokai," Sha said to the vice-principal.

The vice-principal was shocked and responded that he didn't mean to hurt anyone.

 "It's okay, sir," Saki replied back. "It wasn't basically your fault."

 "Call the emergency services!" Kuro said to the man.

The vice-principal did so.

With that Kuro turned to Saki and Sha. "Let's go and find that yokai."

The two agreed, and the three of them ran through the corridors to find Amanojaku and finish him off.

They searched and searched, looking in every room in the school as Bokuto, Taro, and Sha's shadow minions kept on fighting those who were under Amanojaku's puppet-like control.

And then, at 4:11 p.m., they found Amanojaku sitting on a throne prop on the stage at the school auditorium.

He was looking at them as his minions were guarding him.

 "There you are!" Sha said to him.

The Amanojaku then smirked. "Ah, you found me."

He chuckled darkly.

Kuro and Sha then readied their weapons, while Saki readied her magic.

 "Stop this nonsense, you damned demon!" Kuro shouted.

 "Don't do this," Saki added.

 "Alright then." the Amanojaku stood up.

Then to his minions. "Get them."

His minions did so, and Kuro, Saki, and Sha began fighting them without killing them.

While they did so, Sha uses his Shadow Cleansing ability to free most of those who were under Amanojaku's control.

Seeing this, Amanojaku was really upset, so he tried to intensify the fight even more.

But, Kuro and Sha insisted and persisted in ending the fight.

 Then, once all of Amanojaku's minions are freed, Kuro, Saki, and Sha climb the stage to face him. Amanojaku is now scared of them, falling back on his throne prop backward.

 "What do you want from me?" he asked them.

Sha then pointed his sword at him. "We don't want you controlling people for fun."

 "If you want to live, then cut it out," added Kuro, before lifting his scythe.

But Amanojaku resisted, saying that he would do that forever and always, before laughing like a maniac.

Because of this, Kuro and Sha decided to finish him off by sticking some cleansing talismans on the blades of their weapons and striking him with them.

They did so, with Saki's agreement, and Amanojaku was killed by them, dissipating into nothingness and he was sent to the depths of the underworld.

And because of this, all the people who were controlled by him are released from his control.

Now they had no idea what had happened and what they have been doing all this time.

The battle was over.
