Why Is It Taking So Long

**NOLAN'S POV**

After Callum left that night, I stayed here in Addie's room and awaited her transformation. I knew that it could happen at any time. I didn't think that it would happen in less than a week though. She was strong and I knew that she was going to prove that to us with her transformation. As she pointed out, those with more mana took longer to transform.

I even did research on it while she was sleeping. I had Hiam go to the royal archive and bring me all the paperwork that we had on conversions. Specifically on the people that had converted. I wanted to make a list of them all and their power levels. I wanted to see if she had been right about it.

I had spent the first six full days of Addie's conversion pouring over the paperwork. She hadn't woken or even stirred in all that time, so I was using this to pass the time. It was a great distraction.
