**ADDIE'S POV**

I think that things were moving along OK after that moment. Briar didn't specifically say that he didn't trust Nolan, but I just knew that he was still wary of him. I wanted to talk to him about it now, but we were busy collecting a lot of different things from around the clearing that we were in.

This was a place that Briar and I used to visit before I left the village. It was a beautiful place that was filled with an abundance of natural ingredients. Seeing the different colors, smelling the different fragrances, it was all so lovely. And so nostalgic as well. I loved being here and seeing that I was able to smile and laugh about all of this stuff again.
