Chapter 99- Split POV – The Mid Season Ball Part 2 (VOLUME 3)

**ADDIE'S POV**

We continued to dance and have a good time while we finished our dance. Both, Hollis and I, ignored the other people that were whispering around us. We just wanted to have a good time as one song ended and the next began.

The other people stopped seeming like enemies to me, I didn't need to be wary of them. Not while my guards were here. And, of course, I was wearing my charm that I had made. I was safe, no matter what.

The dancing was fun as we twirled and spun around the room. I was laughing and talking with Hollis like he was nothing more than just a friend to me. However, while we were enjoying ourselves, there happened to be one whisper that caught my attention. The voice was so low and gravelly when they spoke, that I didn't know who it was at all.
