Chapter 87- Addie – Laumont Part 2 Volume 4

***ADDIE'S POV***

"Addie?" Nolan's voice called out to me as we flew north. We hadn't been out of Laumont for long and the experience we'd had there was still bothering me. I was busy trying to figure out what had happened. And what had caused them to act that way toward us. It just didn't make any sense to me.

"Yes?" I smiled at Nolan and gave him at least half of my attention. He deserved more, but this was all my mind was capable of while I mulled things over.

"Are you OK?" He asked me as he took a seat next to me on the sofa. It was big enough for us to sit together, yet he snuggled close and pressed himself against my side. Then, as if it were instinctive, he placed his palm against my belly to feel the baby growing inside me.

"I'm fine, Nolan." I snuggled against his side, nuzzling my cheek against his shoulder and the soft material of his shirt.
