Chapter 70- Addie - End of Term Banquet (VOLUME 3)

**ADDIE'S POV**

While I was working with Nolan, I learned that there was an end of term banquet that was going to take place the day that we left. Apparently, it was meant to be a surprise, so I wasn't allowed to tell the others about it. At least I would know and wouldn't be taken by surprise when the professors and headmaster dragged us into this function. I knew that it was supposed to be a shock to us all, something that was meant to be happy and exciting, but with all that was going on lately, I was glad that Nolan had told me.

And, of course, I wasn't able to keep it a secret. Not that I told everyone. I just wanted those closest to me, and my guards, to know about the banquet. The guards already knew, having attended the Academy before, and the older students knew as well. Apparently, it was a thing that happened at the end of each term, but it was supposed to be a shock to us first years.
