Chapter 47- Addie – Ursool Part 3 Volume 4

***ADDIE'S POV***

"How dare you disrespect the King like that!" The angry man bellowed at Uncle Orson and Hunter as they continued to test the food. They paid this man no mind, just going about their business without fail.

"I'm sorry, sir, but what exactly are they doing to disrespect the King?" I looked pointedly at the man as he glared up at us. More specifically, he was glaring at me. He didn't even seem to see Nolan, Hunter, or Uncle Orson.

"You have them testing your foods for poison, like the King would dare to assassinate a worthless nobody like you."

This noble man was fuming, and I was hoping this emotional response was partly to blame for his less than fortunate appearance. His face was a deep red from his rage, but that wasn't it. He had eyes that were heavily lidded with large, sagging bags beneath them. It was almost impossible to make out their greenish yellow shine.
