Chapter 22- Split – Dinner In The Royal Wing Part 2 (VOLUME 2)

**ADDIE'S POV**

The dinner started with no problems at all. I sat with Nolan and the others at the table in the larger dining room. It wasn't the largest dining room in the Royal Wing, but it was quite a bit bigger than the one that we usually used. I guess I just wasn't used to this room as much as I was the other one.

Nolan, ever the doting boyfriend that he was, had held my hand as he walked me over to the table and helped me into my chair. Briar, Uncle Dominic, Uncle Isaiah and Callum were all watching him to make sure that he was doing things right. Or at least I had guessed that was the reason. I mean, what else could the reason be? He was just helping me into my seat and nothing else.

"You and Nolan seem to be getting very close." Uncle Dominic smirked as he made that observation.

"Y..yes, we are close." I tried not to squirm in my seat. Nolan wasn't even sitting down yet, so I knew that it had to be me that answered the comment that Uncle Dominic had made.
