Chapter 184- Addie – A Radiant Sight (VOLUME 2)

**ADDIE'S POV**

Things seemed to be good after we left Thorn Crest. It was all thanks to the letters that had been sent out ahead of us as well. I knew that it was, and for that I was forever grateful to Lord Collie. Because of his words that he had written to these other people, we were welcomed to these other villages with open arms.

When we came across Paddock, Olivet, Brownsburg, and the others that were near Thorn Crest, I knew that they had all heard both sides of the story. And it was clear that most of them had been unsure of Shepherd's claims when he stumbled to the northwest. They said that they knew something was off when he was there. He had apparently appeared to be unhinged when he spoke about me, and that had made several people dismiss his claims. They had also been more than willing to accept the words of Lord Collie as the truth, as it was far more credible.
