Chapter 157- Addie – Castell Part 1 (VOLUME 2)

**ADDIE'S POV**

The moment that I saw Castell on the horizon in front of us, I started to get nervous. Orson, who was in the carriage with us, looked at me and asked if I was OK.

"You do not look well at the moment, Princess Addie. Is everything OK?" His voice was so filled with concern for me that I didn't want to lie to him. However, I wasn't able to tell him the truth. Not all of it anyway. It was just going to need to be altered a little bit.

"I am fine." I told him after a deep breath. "I am just a little nervous about returning to this village. I haven't been here since I was a baby. And then there is the memory that I should be dead. There was someone, either in this village or that came to it that night, that killed my entire family. With that in mind, I know that I..I..I shouldn't be here." There was almost nothing but lies in what I told him. The only truth was that I was nervous about coming here.
