Chapter 155- Addie – Welcoming the Temporary Lord (VOLUME 2)

**ADDIE'S POV**

While Nolan and I sat in the house for the Lord, I heard the commotion at the front door. The envoy from Callum was here and they were heading our way. Now, when I say there was a commotion, I do not mean that in a bad way. I mean, there was the sound of voices and footsteps that were approaching the room that Nolan and I were waiting in, that was all. There were no shouts or anything that indicated a problem.

A knock on the door from Hiam came a moment later.

"Yes?" I called out to him.

"Princess Addie, your visitors have arrived."

"Thank you, Hiam. Please bring them in."

The door to the room opened immediately and Hiam walked in with two men. I knew that there were more than these two men in the caravan, but the others had to have been their staff that came along with them, and they hadn't come with them to see me.
