Chapter 144- Nolan – The Truth Part 4 (VOLUME 3)

**NOLAN'S POV**

Callum and I stood there waiting as the headmaster used his own magic to cleanup the room that we were in. There had been a little bit of blood, or rather a lot of it, and that needed to be cleared away before the next prisoner was brought in for us to talk to. No matter what he did though, there was no getting rid of that scent of death that had seemed to permeate the air. It would smell like this for a while, and there was nothing that we could do about it.

"Well, they should know that we're serious." Callum said with a grin as the headmaster left the room to fetch the next subject.

"You mean that they will smell the death in the air and know that someone has died in here, but they won't know who it is or why, so they will likely be on their best behavior?" I asked with a grin, making light of the situation.

"Yeah, precisely." He laughed at me as the door from the hall opened and the headmaster came in with one of the vampires.
