Chapter 10- Addie - Breakfast With Briar & Nolan Part 2 (Volume 2)

**ADDIE'S POV**

I only let the fear and the panic have their way for a moment. Just enough to express what it was that I was thinking. After that, I locked it back up and threw away the key. I didn't need to be thinking about this at all. I needed to be moving forward, not panicking about things that I couldn't change. This was my new appearance. This was the new me. And I am sure that we will all figure out what to tell people in time. There was no reason to stress and panic over it. None at all.

"You seem to be calming down quite easily now." Briar sounded surprised when he looked at me. "You seemed like you were starting to panic and then all of a sudden you were doing so much better. What happened?"

"Nothing really." I shrugged my shoulders at him. "I just realized that there wasn't that much that I could do about the situations that have come to pass, and that I just needed to focus on the here and now."
