**NOLAN'S POV**
For the remainder of that night, Briar and I talked about various things that had to do with Addie. We discussed her mana, and how she was coming with her magic. We talked about the different lives that Addie might have lived. We talked about the possible future that she would have here in this world, if she were to stay human and if she were to become a wolf. We also talked about the fact that Briar was the Magus until he was banished. And that explains why there was a gap for so long. It takes a lot of effort to reach that point in your life, so there wasn't anyone else that was qualified to fill the position.
