Cherry's Suspicious
Jack didn't notice that Cherry was watching him closely as he worked.
He handed out pieces of raw stones one after another. Instead of slowing down, Jack seemed to grow faster and more efficient. With each stone he picked, his energy surged, and his movements became increasingly confident.
Half a day passed like this. By the time Jack stood up, stretching his back and wiping the sweat from his forehead, he had finished selecting every piece of jade needed from the list.
Manager Jinx was stunned. Seeing Jack perform this miraculous feat for a second time left him speechless. His admiration Jack.
Jack turned to face the room, and when his eyes fell on Cherry, he froze. She had been standing behind him the entire time, observing him intently. Her gaze was thoughtful, her expression unreadable.
"Cherry…" Jack coughed lightly, breaking the silence.
