After a moment of silence, Selana looked up at Jack and asked seriously, "Do you know what the Bean family has been up to recently?"
Jack was caught off guard. He frowned, not understanding the sudden question.
"No," he replied slowly, shaking his head.
Selana's expression darkened slightly. After a brief pause, she said, "The Bean family has set up a smuggling operation. That alone is bad enough, but they've gone a step further—they're using this operation to deal in antiques. It's a risky business, like walking a tightrope."
Jack's eyes widened in surprise. He hadn't expected this revelation.
