Chapter 18: Training, & Asylum.

Back at the house I had already discussed about what went down with Frankenstein. Of course I didn't include the part of the torture and also about Mary.

As I stood looking out the window I began to think about the new variation I had made today. M-24 was still alive and didn't die by Jakes hand as was his destiny and M-21 didn't have true good-guy change and come back to work for Frankenstein as a guard at school which was going to start crawling with cannon Fodder's soon making the reason for his being kept alive already becoming obsolete. But maybe also it may not be completely lost, they both want to escape the organization and now both are aware that there's someone as powerful as me out here that the organization has no idea about. So there is still a possibility that they may come ask for asylum with me even if they'll be taking a big risk, and the new curve I created in time may become a straight line soon again. Another variation I created was that Mary was supposed to die at Frankenstein's hands, but that is a variation I have no interest in fixing. Also since the kid's and yuna got knocked out early because of my pressure, it means that I didn't have to erase their memories which I'm fine doing to the others but I would have to had erased yuna's as well which is complicated because at some point yuna will have to become aware of me but at this point it is way too early so I would have been forced to seal hers, but luckily she got knocked out as well.

AT THE SITE OF THE FIGHT...

Dr crombell had arrived at the site and this time as opposed to the original time stream, Mary was with him. She had reported the news of Jake's death and the battlefield which she had found him.

<ALL UNITS ATTENTION>

Dr crombell: Ah...carry on

Commander: Welcome Dr crombell, although I can hardly believe it myself we found the the remaining evidence for Jakes body.

Dr crombell: ...... Bring me the box Mary.

Mary: Yes sir.

And so Mary stepped forward to bring the long rectangular suitcace in her hand to crombell. After he received it, he opened it to reveal an arm. This was the arm of jake that Mary brought back as his remains. As he looked it, he looked in front of him to see the large blood puddle that was Jakes body and the completely ripped out front of the building.;

*Crombell inner monologue*

The arm looks like it was blown out from inside his body, like a small bomb. It doesn't look cleaved, and this blood puddle in front of me how can be so focused and round on one position. There are extra or tiny remains of guts and bones, It's like his entire body just liquefied and became a puddle of blood. What could have done something like this}.

Commander: Dr crombell we just found an infected that was last seen accompanying agent Mary.

Dr crombell: Infected?

Mary: *inner thoughts* {damn that insect didn't die. We must have forgotten him because of how unimportant he was. But last I saw he was knocked out too from the NOBLESSE'S pressure so he definetly dosen't know anything at all. But he still saw the children which may complicate things now}

BACK AT THE RESEARCH INSTITUTE...

As crombell was looking through reports he was thinking;

**Crombell inner monologue**

The attack that killed Jake was different from a simple physical attack. If it's someone who could materialize power in this way, could it be that the person who killed Jake could have been a Noble.

Researcher 1: Sir, the result's from analyzing the bllod and cell sample found in the basement has come out.

As crombell was looking through the report handed to him, he was noticing some things that were different.

Crombell: What's this? It's definitely Jakes DNA but It's showing slightly different structures. What has been done to Jake?.

Researchers: (◎_◎;)(◎_◎;)(◎_◎;)(◎_◎;)...

Crombell:... Judging from the atmosphere it seems you guys know about it.

Researcher 2: Well....we operated the experiment that was recently discovered to have potential on Jake a few days ago. Agent Jake had threatened to kill all of us if we do not do the experiment. Even if not for the threat, it was an experiment that we needed to do so we carried it out. I'm sorry sir, we had tried to report as soon as possible but then something like this happened.

Crombell: ..... Was the experiment successful?.

Researcher 2: Sorry?. Ah....yes it was successful but some problems showed up.

Crombell: It should've, so what was the kind of problem that occuree in jake?.

Researcher 2: Well sir although it was successful, it resulted in the cells in Jakes body breaking down slowly. We couldn't make a more detailed report because jake had decided to get up even when we told him not to.

Crombell: That's a shame we should've found out more from jake......

<KUAAAAH!!!>

Researcher 3: The infected has woken up sir.

After crombell had walked over to the experiment room where the zombie guy was being held down on a table, he looked down on the zombie vamp in front him and asked;

Crombell: What is this guy?

Researcher 3: It's someone M-21 & M-24 captured during their mission. M-24 infected him for their purpose.

Crombell: *sigh* were not going to learn anything from a failed experiment's infection. He wouldn't even have been aware of what he was doing.....get rid of him.....

Zombie vamp: Kuu.....I did everything..... I was told to do.

Crombell: *inner thought* {He's answering? a guy who got infected by getting bitten from an experiment..

– what kind of things did you do?.

Zombie vamp: I....tell them...I...

Crombell: Where's M-24?.

Researcher 3: We don't know sir, it seems that that both him and M-21 are nowhere to be found right now.

Crombell:.....*{there's no way that someone infected by M-24 can have this kind of self awareness. But he's thinking and answering. It seems it may either be because he is unique or a change had occurred in M-24 that I didn't know about. And if a change had happened in M-24, what about M-21 too, what is his change?}.

–Do a thorough investigation on this guy,

and I want you to find M-21 and M-24 and bring

them to me as fast as you can.

Researcher 3: Understood.

MEANWHILE AT SOME PLACE ELSE...

Mary was busy training her new powers and trying a new idea that she had come up with to use it.

**Mary's inner thoughts**

If I could maybe use my mental strength and combine and materialize it to manifest it as something of a new ability like shooting out lightning from my hands or manifesting flames on my body that won't burn me but burn everything else or even controlling water then I will be able to get much stronger. And with my infinite growth, the level of the intensity of the flames I can manifest or even the voltage of the lightning, and also the volume of water that I would be able to control would also always be increasing as well. And maybe also in the far future, I would also be able to manipulate space itself and possibly time. But that may take a while so for now i'll stick to the basic element's.

I found that it was really easy trying to connect them my mental strength with my materializationskill, well they were already linked to each other before but that was more like a passive effect because before if I just thought to materialize something and my mental strength could handle it then it would just get created. But now I was purposefully trying to link them to not just create but to also control what I was manifesting. Which was really easy because in hindsight too, mental energy was the same as aura too which I had.

Now I could control my mental energy/aura to flow inside my body or manifest it outside my body, and I could feel it strengthening my body and increasing my abilities and my strength. It was definitely stronger than before, if before in my base form I could easily dodge and react to a hail of bullet's now I could feel that in a short distance I could move faster than a bullet itself and still react to the rest easily within that distance. And my power was about three times more stronger than before, I was already much stronger than jake before who himself could dodge and react to at least three to five bullets fired at him, of course this was with his transformation. In base form he could only dodge one or at most two and not even perfectly at that.

But then came a problem. Even if it was easy to manifest it, that was only in it's natural and neutral state. Everyone one didn't have the same color of aura, mine was blue, the blond guy's aura was dark purple with an affinity of electricity in it, Jakes was just bland and the NOBLESSE'S was a deep blood red. The same color was recognized as the same for most of the Noble's except much lighter.

The problem that arose was trying to infuse an affinity to my aura and change its nature. But although it was hard, it was not impossible. After some time I had managed to imagine the nature of lightning and added it onto my aura. And immediately all around me sparks started flying. At first it was small sparks, and then it started growing a little more until it became super frantic and crazy all around me. It felt great and amazing. I tested my speed first and it was unbelievable, i had already broken the sound barrier and approaching super sonic. There was not much of a loud boom because restricted most of it from happening, my reaction speed was even greater now and my perception of my surrounding's were now much greater than before.Time became much slower now before, and when I decided to try my power, the shockwave was incredible and so was the destruction. The best part of all this was that I haven't even used my transformation yet. But I also didn't want to use it yet, not unless I meet someone strong enough to force me to.

Mary had decided that this was enough for today, her gains were much more than she thought and she didn't want to be greedy and rush things. So she decided to head back to the institute, crombell may also need her for something.

MEANWHILE AT FRANKENSTEINS HOUSE...

Frankenstein: What are you doing here.

M-21: ...*{shit I didn't know this terrifying guy was also living withim, so that his master who he was referring to. That guy who could make jake kneel and become completely powerless with just pressure alone and not even mind control this time}

Frankenstein: Didn't I ask you a question.

M-24: ....

M-21: .....We....we came to ask for protection.

Frankenstein: (^_-) And why should I even do that instead of just killing you both right now.

M-21:... There's no reason for you to at all I know that but we're still asking. I don't know how but the organization is completely unaware of guys like you

Frankenstein:..And wouldn't taking you in jeopardize our way of living if you get discovered here.

M-21: Yes we're entirely aware of that possibility.

Frankenstein: ....

M-21: We could work if that's okay though. We could maybe get employed and pay you while you protect us.

Frankenstein: What do I look like to you, some kind of gangster?.

M-21: Ah sorry we didn't mean it that way we just.....

– Frankenstein.

From inside the house raizel came out and frankenstein bowed a little.

Raizel: It's okay, let them stay.

Frankenstein: But master your existence may.... I understand master. But what about the kid's, they still very much remember them.

Raizel:..... I'll leave that to you Frankenstein, I trust your decision ( bullshitting)

Frankenstein:😓😓😓😓😓.

Raizel just walked back inside and left Frankenstein in the cold to deal with everything.

M-21: *{ its been confirmed now, that guy is his master.

Frankenstein:....

M-21 & M-24:........
