The Mistake
His heart felt pierced when Zev saw Jody and Brian holding hands in the sink. At first, he thought it differently, but he knew it was wrong to think that way, so he immediately approached Jody and separated their hands soaking in the water in the sink. Zev held Jody's hand.
"Are you in pain, love?" Zev asked.
"No, I'm fine. Thanks to Brian." Jody said.
Zev glanced at Brian. "Thank you." Then he looked back at Jody. "Let's go, love."
Jody glanced at Brian. "Put some cream on it to prevent blisters."
"I will do it," Brian said to Jody.
Zev immediately pulled Jody out of the bathroom. Zev took her to the garden, a bit away from the others.
"What are you thinking? Why did you go with Brian inside the washroom when it was just you? The door was closed." There was annoyance in Zev's voice.
"We're not doing anything wrong."
