The Jody Link to Rydel

Zev told Loel in a whisper that Jody was getting restless. Even though he was confused, he got up quickly and entered the house. Zev squeezed and looked at Jody's hand. Loel came back with a prominent speaker later. It was connected to Cassy's phone immediately, which started to ring loudly soon after.

Loel made that low volume so it wouldn't disturb the people in the woods. It was the perfect sound for those there, which made Loel frown when Zev thought it came from behind them.

Loel asked, "Are you sure?"

Jody just nodded. Everyone else looked at her. Using their weredragon link, Zev can't talk to Loel because the others will know that Jody is a weredragon. Even though they know that Jody is human and Rydel is an alpha, everyone will still ask what happened, and he will have to tell them everything.

"It's too dangerous." Zev had an idea.

Audrey said, "Let's play games."

Kross asked, "What games?"
