Epilogue

"Damn, I missed you, love." Zev kissed her on the lips. "Did I tire you?"

Jody stared at Zev. She didn't speak, making Zev frown. Zev sat on the bed and watched her.

"Why love?" Zev asked.

"You release it inside me," Jody said.

"Yeah, isn't it always? You're on pills, so it's okay, right?" When Jody didn't answer, Zev suddenly panicked. "Don't tell me..."

"I haven't been able to take pills lately because I ran out and forgot to buy them," Jody said. "And god..." Jody immediately took out her phone and looked at an app. "Oh, my god..."

"Why? Are you going to get pregnant?" Zev asked.

"Ahm, no, maybe not..." Jody got up and went straight to the bathroom. Zev immediately followed her.

"What? Maybe not? What do you mean by that?"

"I can't get pregnant," said Jody. "I need to graduate first. Besides, I'm still young; I don't want to be a mommy yet."

Jody turned her back on Zev and closed the shower room door.
