When Vanessa opened her eyes, she looked around with confusion. She tried to remember what had happened. She only recalled that after she drank the wine, a waiter accidentally tripped into Oliver, causing her to start feeling dizzy. Then Melody came to her, even though she didn't understand why she was feeling weak and dizzy. Vanessa didn't resist and cooperated with Melody. Soon after, she saw Fiona, which brought her some relief because she trusted Fiona more than Melody. Then Yanna carried her, but she doesn't remember what happened next.
Frowning, Vanessa rubbed her temples for a while. She froze when she noticed that her clothes had been changed into a nightgown. On the side table, she saw folded clothes. She took a deep breath, set aside her thoughts, and proceeded to change into the new clothes.
Vanessa went downstairs and found Fiona sitting in the living room. Fiona looked towards the stairs upon hearing footsteps and observed Vanessa for a few seconds. She greeted her once she realized Vanessa was fine.
" Good morning," Fiona greeted with a teasing smile
"Where's everyone?" Vanessa inquired
"Same as usual, huh? I thought we had become closer after last night," Fiona murmured to herself but was still heard by Vanessa, who was not far from her.
Vanessa simply looked at her lazily after drinking water without saying anything. Fiona returned her gaze, meeting her eyes, and knew she couldn't joke with her.
"You're no fun at all. Yanna hasn't come down yet, and Melody is helping in the kitchen. Breakfast will be ready soon," Fiona explained. She still couldn't keep up with Vanessa, as she thought it would be easier to get close to Yanna than to an iceberg beauty.
"I'll go wake her up first," Vanessa responded.
"Good," Fiona agreed.
"Where's her room?" Vanessa asked.
"Next to yours," Fiona replied.
Vanessa went back upstairs, while Fiona watched her with interest. Fiona realized that Yanna and Vanessa seemed closer than expected. Though not obvious, she sensed that there was something going on between the two.
Vanessa knocked on the guest room next to hers, but no one answered. She decided to open the door and take a look inside. She doubted if it was really Yanna's room because the bed was neatly made, as if no one had slept on it. However, her doubt vanished when she heard the sound of water coming from the bathroom.
She sat on the bed and waited for Yanna, closing her eyes to gather her thoughts. When Yanna emerged from the bathroom wrapped in a bathrobe, she saw Vanessa sitting on the bed. Yanna was relieved to see her well, but noticed her furrowed brow, which made her worry once again. She stepped forward and gently asked, "Vanessa, are you okay?" while sitting down next to her.
Vanessa looked at Yanna, who was filled with concern for her. Her indifference faded immediately, and she hugged Yanna tightly. Yanna was shocked by the sudden embrace and thought that Vanessa must have been scared the previous night.
"I'm okay, I just miss you," Vanessa says, releasing her hold on Yanna reluctantly and bowing her head.
Yanna looked at Vanessa, who seemed childlike at that moment. Yanna couldn't help but giggle at how cute she was. She didn't say anything, causing Vanessa to raise her head. It was then that Vanessa realized Yanna was only wearing a bathrobe. Before she could even remind Yanna, she was kissed on the lips. Instinctively, Vanessa kissed her back, and a blurry memory from the previous night became clear. Yanna stopped kissing her and embraced her instead.
"Yanna?"
"You're so cute, I can't help myself but to kiss you," Yanna explained in a low voice.
Vanessa felt Yanna's breath in her ears, causing her to blush. Gradually, the blurry scene in the bathroom began to become clear to her.
Yanna and Vanessa were still hugging when the door opened. Both Vanessa and Yanna, who were lost in their own world, snapped back to reality and turned towards the door.
Melody opened her mouth but didn't know what to say. She looked at Yanna in her bathrobe and Vanessa, who was blushing.
"I... I didn't see anything, bye!" she exclaimed, closing the door after a few seconds of shock, and hurriedly ran downstairs.
Vanessa sat on the sofa, hiding her embarrassment by covering her face with her hands. She couldn't help but think about Yanna and Vanessa hugging. Although she knew they were just friends, her mind started to wander in a negative direction.
Yanna immediately got up without saying anything and began to put on her clothes. Vanessa became extremely embarrassed and turned around.
"Yanna, don't just suddenly change clothes in front of anyone," she said.
"Don't worry, I only let you see," Yanna replied, looking at Vanessa and noticing her ears turning red.
Vanessa's heart skipped a beat, wondering what Yanna meant.
She thought of the scenes last night where she saw Yanna in white shirt drenched in water, although she's dizzy and losing her mind she can vaguely remember how sexy Yanna's body, especially her abdominal muscles.
Vanessa swallowed, trying to calm herself down and act normal,"Nonsense, I'll just wait for you downstairs,"
Yanna watched Vanessa walk away quickly, leaving her alone. She smiled and shook her head.
"My future wife looks so cool and cute at the same time, what should I do? " Yanna giggled, thinking about Vanessa.
She applied light make-up and went downstairs to find everyone at the table. She smiled and greeted them.
"Good morning."
