Alicia looked at his with furrowed brows and said, "Your asking me as if you didn't even know yourself."

Edward did not say anything from her words and simply looked away. Alicia was speechless. If he really didn't know about it then he really grew up with Chris without knowing that he was groomed to be the Mafia King since the age of three and he took on that post the moment he reached fourteen. 

But Edward grew up with the both of them since he was five years old. How did he not notice this whole time?
