without waiting for him to answer her question or even let her words simply sink in Quin walked towards Alicia and said, "You did say he would try to screw you over. But I didn't think it would be this exciting." 

Alicia simply smiled at her words appreciating how she was aggravating Chris and pinning him on to a corner without bashing an eye-lid 

Without much reservation, Alici than glanced at both Dnate and Edward lightly and sarcastically said, "Of course the both of you knew nothing about this right?"
