EDWARD'S ARRIVAL

"So, you brought Noah here just so you can keep her busy while you plan out the suit you have against her company? You have a very toxic relationship with your sister you know that?" said Edward as he kept his eyes on the man in front of him who was filled with wide smiles.

He could not believe how a man could let his own sister go on countless dates just to keep her busy. It was absolutely ludicrous.

Chris did not answer Edwards question and simply smiled widely at him while giving him a, 'you know the answer to that' kind of look.

....

The situation in the dinning hall was very far from harmonious. Liam could feel the coldness in Noah's gaze everytime Alicia looked at him. It was even worse when Paul wanted to talk to him for a bit in the garden.

...

In the Garden:

"Tell me Liam, are you sure about your relationship with my daughter?! And I want honest answers young man." spoke Paul with a intense look on his face.

He still felt like he knew Liam from somewhere, but the young man did not seem like he knew him at all. And that on its own is what gave him an even worse impression of the guy.

Liam simply gazed at the man in front of him as he smiled slowly and said. "We have met before Mr Adams, I remember one of your novels became a huge hit a few years ago. I just can't place where exactly I met you then."

Paul was at first stunned by his words but ended up with a smile on his face as he has come to a good conclusion of where he had met the man. It seemed that he was a very cultured man who appreciated Novels as they should be.

Liam continued with, "But Mr Adams, I heard your family had two daughters. why have I never heard of your daughter from Alicia?! she does not seem to know of her in any way. ...."

Paul froze in spot by Liam's question.
