5.BENCHMATE
"How dare you hold my hand?"Asli withdraws her hand from Bridil and look him seriously. "O sorry I thought it was Tanya"Bridil just replied without looking her. He was one of the popular guy in the school as everyone was looking him confusingly as he was seen with a girl .
Move back, Asli pushes him away and go back to her class. Bridil stays there looking her and smiling silently.
"Who he thinks of himself ,I am look like a fool. I know he purposefully took my hand but why, we are not friends..then why" Asli reaches the classroom as she reaches she saw Tanya and Ash are chatting with new student ALEX .Asli then notices the boy and go towards them"Hi ,I am Asli nice to meet u" Asli stretched her hand towards Alex. "Hi ,I am Alex , I had about you from your friends"and he looks at Tanya.Tanya who is already fallen for the handsome hunk stood their smiling.
Bridil comes back to the classroom and see this and goes towards his newly found seat(near to Asli) and looked for Sid and Vivan.At that his eyes fall on the paper on the side of Asli he took it and he saw a drawing of a girls eye looking through the field of daisies. As the bell range and next hour is Science everyone gets through the seats,Bridil puts the paper back on her desk.Asli comes there and seeing Bridil her smile vanished.
Teacher comes and ongoes the class but now Asli is interested in the annoying behaviour of her benchmate. He is keen interested in the subject ,writing notes almost like topper student.Asli is puzzled about his charchter.
On her way back with Tanya she was still thinking about it "Tanya, why is your brother so cold towards me,He is speaking with every other in the gang expect me"
"He is like that dear ,After his father's death he has changed a lot.Our old Bridil was not like that always smiling ,cracking jokes , helping others.Now he is alone with his mom and brother."
"But,why he avoid me after all i am his benchmate"
"Dont worry girl as time goes by everything will be fun ,but seeing your eagerness are you interested in my brother"Tanya asks palyfully.
At that a cycle comes an stop in front of them it was Alex .
"Hi girls,why are you walking? I can give you ride home "
Tanya who seen her Prince Charming felt silent and stood their watching him.
"I usually come by car ,today there was a situation so I have to walk"Asli explained.
"We will walk home"
"Can I join you"Alex also joins them and walk besides them.
Bridil who sees all is pissed of by the closeness of Asli and Alex .Whereas here Alex is using as an oppurtuninty to Tanya's heart.
After sometime of walking,cracking jokes they reaches Tanya's home."k then bye see you tomorrow" Tanya looked Asli and then Alex by waving hands and she moved towards her house.
"Do you mind if I pick you up tomorrow"Alex asked Tanya doubtfully.Less the fact he knows she has already started dreaming it.
She turns and nods her head as if it's k and waves her hand.
Asli who is currently looking at the current situation and feel happy for her friend.
As she watches them a strong hand forcely pushes her aside, by the push she suddenly remembers that it is the same push she have got on first day.
"Hey you cant you say sorry"Asli asked by moving forward.
Suddenly the owner of the hand look backwards "I am sorry"
Asli couldn't believe her eyes and ears "Is is the same Bridil who is in the class ;he said sorry....
As if Asli can sense the ice is melting....
