17: Throw These Rascals Away!

Raiver's eyes glowed with faint gray light. His observation and awareness expanded.

An invisible light circle grew from within Raiver up to the house main gate.

There stood a family of three. The man in his late 50s in a gray suit and slick back hair, a woman in her early 40s dressed in a conservative yet elegant dress paired with silver heels and a young man who look like the old man, dressed in pale yellow buttoned-up loose long-sleeves polo shirt paired with black pants and brown shoes.

All three of them is patiently standing outside the door waiting to be fetched.

Although the receiving area is far from the main living room where Raiver and his child is, he could hear what they have been talking.

According to the reports that Raiver received, these three people are the 'adoptive family' of his. They are rich but not as the same league as Gruigels.

The head of the family did not come from silver-spooned family hence, Eulgo Ashten, is very crafty and black bellied.

While the mistress, Eika Ashten, is a snake and a scheming b*tch. She is the reason behind the failed marriage of Eulgo's first wife and killed his first child. She is also a certified gold digger.

And lastly, his younger brother, the heir of the Ashtens, Eric Ashten. He is originally kind young man, on the outside. A two-faced person with a terrible personality. Although he is a registered Alpha, his body speaks the other way.

It seems like Ashten's hide too many secrets to count.

Even though extracting information directly from their brain will not be a problem into solving these buried secrets of theirs, Raiver chose to reserve that for later.

After all, he is still preparing for the great revenge of this family's downfall.

But for now, he will play with them until he gets bored.

Raiver retracted his observation skill. He then called and gave Lea orders telepathically.

Not long after, the Ashtens came inside the main living room where Raiver and his son is playing.

Eulgo coughed to get Raiver's attention.

Raiver turned his head to face his suppose-to-be-father and had a confused face.

"Do I know you Mister?", Eulgo's face turned in disbelief.

"Did you forget about me, son?", Eulgo maintained his composure.

"I am your son? I thought I was orphaned. I am sorry you might be mistaken me for somebody else", Raiver then gave a polite smile then turned his attention to Andrei.

The trio was stunned!

The good-for-nothing dog is humiliating them!

Lea then stepped in to calm them down.

"I am sorry for how he is behaving. Young master *sighs* how do I explain it", Lea acted nervous.

"Do worry, I am his father. Please tell me what happened. I am worried about his welfare", hearing this nonsense statement, Raiver have the sudden urge to laugh.

He gulped his impending laughter which may ruin this act.

"He got into accident after he escapes. According to doctors, he forgot certain parts of his life. Mostly the most hurtful and depressing part of his life. Erasing them from his memory. That's why, he couldn't remember certain persons events in his life. He currently knows that he is orphaned and was ex-lover of Leo", Lea explained.

Eulgo's lips twitched.

'So, the useless brat had an amnesia'

The anger from Eulgo's eyes was replaced with irritation.

Not only they need to tweak plans for coming, they also need to accommodate their 'son'.

Eric who is clearly not liking this situation strode forward and grabbed Raiver's arm.

He forcefully turned his direction to his and faced Raiver with anger in his eyes. This idiot actually dares to stir trouble to his family.

This dog erased some parts of his memories!

Raiver's relationship with Leo was altered. Labelling him as his ex-lover.

But what if Leo knew of this situation! Raiver erased Ashten's existence as his family!

Leo will certainly not let this escape!

It will ring a bell that the façade that this perfect family will shatter. Everyone knows that Raiver and the Ashten's have a perfect harmony and is the ideal family of the society.

Only the people of Ashten's knew what's underneath this façade.

And if Raiver to say that he didn't know them, obviously, everyone will catch on that there is underlying event in this so-called ideal family. It will expose them.

Obviously, Leo already knew of Raiver's condition.

He is guilty and have no excuse for why Raiver chose to forget their memories and altered it so he wouldn't feel much pain.

But with Ashten's case, it will tip Leo to go and investigate this matter.

"Brother what's wrong? We are brothers, right? There's no way that you will forget me", Eric warned Raiver through his eyes.

Raiver who got this smirk in his head.

'I'm sorry bud. This is my stage', Raiver's eyebrows almost met. He had this questioning look on his face.

"I really don't know who you are. Please let me go", Raiver pleaded.

Eric's grip tightened. It made Raiver to shout in pain.

"Please sir. Let our young master go", Lea tried to grab Eric's hand.

Eika, who is very protective of his son, Grabbed Lea's hand and slapped her face!

Lea got shoved to the floor, while holding her face.

"How dare you! You lowlife actually want to touch my son!", the mistress shouted with her voice almost reached the roof of the house.

Leo who is walking along the hallway, heard the angry shout.

It seems that the ear-piercing sound came from the living room.

Leo's eyes widened. Raiver and his son is there playing. What if something happened to them?

Leo began to ran towards the direction of the commotion.

Raiver who is struggling to free himself from Eric's hand, started to plead and his tears is falling from his eyes.

Raiver smiled when he heard Leo's footsteps nearing the room.

He needs to make this into a huge scene before Leo enters the scene!

Raiver met his other maids's eyes and received a nod. The maid went outside of the room immediately.

Eulgo went to his wife's side to calm her from continues scolding to the maid. While Eric kept on hurting Raiver's hand and repeating his words. Forcefully unlocking what Raiver locked in his memories.

Andrei also started to cry loudly.

The room is in a mess.

Eulgo did not know how it became into this. He needs to bring in peace before Leo comes in.

They originally wanted to take Raiver home and work his ass off for the company. And also, to keep Leo in check. Since his love for his ex-wife is still there and he will no doubt make Raiver his priority.

But now, everything is in haywire!

Lea's assistant, who is also a maid for Raiver, came to Eika's side with a pitcher of orange juice.

These refreshments were meant to be serve towards the guests. But today these refreshments are a prop that will make the messy scene into a disaster.

Eika suddenly grabbed the tea cups and throw them at the floor!

The maid tried to get the refreshments away from her grip, but Eika immediately grabbed the pitcher and poured its content to Lea.

After pouring the pitcher's content she then threw the pitcher somewhere.

Raiver who is still in Eric's hand, panicked!

The pitcher is heading for Andrei's position!

Raiver, twisted his hand hard to free it from Eric's hands and then sprinted to where his precious son is.

He used his body to shield his son by hugging his son and his back faced the incoming glass pitcher.

Raiver used the noise amplification to make the shattered pitcher noisier.

He also made sure that the small crack in the pitcher is facing his back so that it will easily break upon impact.

This carefully planned scheme was successful.

The pitcher crashed so loud that the commotion in the room stopped.

Lea exaggeratingly screamed 'NO!' while looking at Raiver's bleeding back. Raiver winced because some of the shattered glass got stuck on his back.

This time Raiver did not act his expression of his pained face. Andrei's wailing echoed the room.

This is the scene that Leo reached.

He immediately supported Raiver's falling body.

"What happened?!", Leo can't help but to scream in anger and looked at the scene in fornt of him.

"Our son, i-is An-andrei, is he ok?", Raiver asked in his low voice.

He is obviously getting weak because of the excessive bleeding from his back. Leo clenched his fist.

"Throw these rascals away. And call for ambulance immediately", Leo roared in anger.

The guards immediately surrounded and held the trio. They then forcefully dragged them away and kicked them out of the house.

Leo's butler immediately dialed for emergency hotline.

Leo hugged Raiver's weak body and his son. He furious!

Those people actually dared to cause trouble in his house!

Not only that! They injured Raiver and his son!
