Chapter40: Change

True to his words Morgan woke Chase when they got back to the village. Chase sat up straighter and yawned as Morgan drove the car around to his parking spot, turning the engine off and getting out to quickly walk around and open Chase's door.

Chase took Morgan’s offered hand and let him tug him out of the car and onto his feet. Morgan smiled at Chase when he found his balance and pulled him into a firm hug, gently kissing his cheeks.

“Did you enjoy today?” Morgan asked, letting go of Chase.

Chase hummed in response. “Today was great. Plus, I’m looking forward to spending more time with you,” he smiled.

Morgan grinned in response. “Then how about we head inside to go get your new schedule figured out.”

Chase agreed and followed Morgan around the side of the manor and up to the front door. Morgan led him up to his office and closed the door behind them. Chase took his seat quietly as Morgan walked around the desk to do the same.
