Sly checked the time on his wristwatch, "I'm afraid we will be on our way, Mama Kaka." He looked apologetic as he said those words.
Phew.
Thank God, he decided to cut this short. I was afraid he won't want to leave, seeing how much he enjoyed joking with Mama Kaka and all that.
"What? Did I bore you already?" Mama Kaka frowned at us.
"That's not it, Mama. I have some things to do, and I don't want to waste your time anymore."
"Pfft. You are wasting my time. But if you say you have something you needed to do, then I won't keep you waiting." She rose from the chair she was sitting in and faced me. "I hope you won't ever forget to visit this old woman."
"I won't," I stood from the cushion just as Sly stood. "We will be on our way, Mama Kaka."
"I will escort you out."
We conversed with Mama Kaka as she escorted us to where we packed the vehicle.
