Mission

"..." Cana's eyes slowly opened only to see the blurry figure of Alex over her. She was blank for a moment, but thinking it was a dream, she reached out and placed her palms to hold his face.

"Did you sleep here?" I didn't resist as Cana brought her face towards his face, but those words caused Cana to snap back to reality. She blinked her eyes for a moment, before realizing it wasn't a dream. She looked around, only to see countless eyes on her. She wanted to dig a hole and just die.

"Yup, she drank so much she fainted. but don't worry, it's a common scene for her... although she drank far more than in past days." Lisanna said softly, while looking at Cana in confusion, not understanding the reason behind her actions last night. But Cana wanted her to just stop talking.

"Thats cute, were you jealous?" I asked with a smile, making Cana just roll up into a ball to hide away. She wanted to trust Alex last night, but the fact she just met him worried her and caused her to be filled with all types of thoughts. so to ease herself, she grabbed something to drink.

"I guess I should have asked you to tag along... I guess in your current condition, we can't go on a mission today. so let's go tomorrow." I said while holding out my palm to help her up, but at this time Erza walked over.

"I thought you were going on a mission with me?" Erza asked with a raised eyebrow, causing Cana's eyebrow to raise. She was going on a mission with Alex today

"I planned to have you two come with me. Cana's ability to read cards, and your combat power plus my newly awakened magical power. we should have things in the bag." I said with a smile, causing the two to feel uneasy about this. but they turned their attention towards the magical power I was speaking about.

"What is your magical power?" Cana asked to which I held out my palm. golden light formed which swallowed everyone in the guild, causing them to be stronger than before. although those stronger than me faced a small strength boost.

"I have this light power that I can use to heal and boost others' strength," I said with a smile, stunning everyone else within the guild. mostly Cana who felt the effect of drinking until she blacked out disappearing under the effect of this light. 

"You call it light power, so you don't know what it is?" Erza asked to which I nodded slightly. at this, everyone turned towards Makarov to see if he knew anything about this magic. but even Makarov knew nothing about this magic.

"It should be a type of lost magic that has been lost in history." He said with a slight frown. Lust Magic is a type of Magic that has been obliterated from the history of the world due to its immense power and the sheer gravity of its side effects on the users.

"I'm alright. we should head out." Cana said making me look at her in worry, but Cana looked at me with a look that said she was okay. So, I nodded slightly. So, the 3 of us headed towards the mission board to look for a mission.

"this one looks good, 400,000 jewels?" I asked while pointing towards a mission board which I could sadly only read the reward on.

"thats a Subjugation mission, we have to capture a dark mage called the Black Storm," Erza explained remembering how I couldn't read.

"Cana can you track him down" I asked, to which Cana nodded slightly, she had trained in Fortune Telling for a long time. Cana can use her fortune telling to locate the whereabouts of others but only in their general area rather than the point location.

"But as a wanted man, I'm sure it wouldn't be easy for me to locate him. we should first head out and be at where he was last spotted." Cana said calmly, to which I and Erza nodded in understanding.

"We are the perfect team, me the support, Cana all-rounder, and Erza the fighter," I said with a smile, stunning the two for a moment. they didn't think of it like that, and once I said it, they indeed looked like the perfect team.

"But we shouldn't head out to search for one person. we should take some extra missions to complete along the way." Erza said calmly, to which we nodded while taking some extra missions which were all hunting related.

"Alex!" A cry of joy sounded behind me while we talked about the missions to hit first and some that could be left behind. this cry instantly drew everyone's attention, and to Alex's shock, a woman jumped into his arms.

"I couldn't sleep last night, I couldn't help but remember our little date you promised." She said in joy. Cana and Erza were left frozen for a moment, but before they could do anything, a woman came running over and pulled the woman off Alex.

"What are you talking about? It was clearly me he promised the meal to." the second woman said, and only everyone noticed how a crowd of women was entering the guild, all of them gathering near Alex.

"That was me, how shameless!" a woman cried while grabbing the hair of another woman who claimed she was the one Alex promised the date to.

"what's going on?" Cana asked with a slightly dark face, although Erza said nothing it was clear she was not happy with this. So, I quickly explained how these kind people had helped me buy clothing and brought me to the guild yesterday,

"So, they refused the money and instead wanted me to take them out on the meal... but I can't remember who I agreed with," I said with an embarrassed look, 

"I can't take it anymore!" a cry sounded, causing me to look over only for a pair of lips to be locked with mine. arms locked around me, while her tongue entered my mouth. I was stunned for a moment, but seeing as she was cute... I quickly had my tongue battle with her to push her out of my domain, while trying to break the kiss with my hands.

But she jumped, wrapping her legs around my waist. her arms seemed to be empowered with the strength of a billion people, leading me to walk all over the place, trying my best to free myself. but she didn't want this kiss to end, she had never felt a kiss that could bring forth such pleasure.

Cana saw her boyfriend struggling and quickly ran forward to help, but she wasn't needed as the other females jumped over, quickly pulling the female off Alex.

"How dare you steal my kiss!" they cried with a wronged look as if they were the one who had just been forcefully kissed... but the look of envy in their eyes couldn't be hidden. the woman who had just kissed Alex laid on the ground with a peaceful face, that said she could now die in peace without any regrets. 

Seeing this, the females couldn't help but look at Alex... was the kiss that good? Makarov, and the other members of the guilds had a speechless look. mostly the guys who had some envy.

"Alex, are you alright?" A gentle-looking girl asked seeing how Alex was breathing heavily while removing the saliva on his face. Alex nodded slightly, his heart moved slightly by this kind sweet little angel... well that was a mistake, as soon as she saw an opening, she too jumped on Alex and began kissing him madly as if she wanted to eat him.

Luckily for Alex, she was pulled off by Cana who glared at the rest of the females with a warning glare. 

"Get off my boyfriend," Cana said angrily, these evil women were trying to steal what was hers. how could she just stand there and watch? but as soon as she heard her words, she froze while looking over towards Alex to see his reaction. everyone also looked over towards Alex, wanting to see his reaction. but Alex also had a shocked look, not expecting Cana to say such words.

I could feel death, countless daggers aimed at me and Cana.

if this was any other world, I would have ignored it, but in a world where emotions can translate to power... did I dare? If I wasn't careful, then a jealous woman would turn into a snake, eyeing my every move to make sure I suffer the worst way possible for rejecting them.

At that moment, all eyes were on Alex, to see if he accepted or refused. what was he going to say? was this going to be a yes or a no? But Alex wasn't the one to break that pregnant silence that had befall the guild

"N-no, thats impossible. Alex just arrived in the city yesterday." the first woman who had jumped on Alex said with a shake of her head. One moment she was on the ground with a look that said she could die in peace, but how could she die in peace knowing the man she loved was stolen from her? They were perfect for each other, a pair made in heaven.

"Alex is all mine." as the girl grew restless, they threw looks at Cana, with many of them thinking of ways to remove Cana from the picture so that they could take Alex all for themselves. Cana felt the killing intent, which stunned her to look at the crowd of females.

"... I can't date. Not until I save my people of their curse." I said before things could get out of hand, at my words everyone froze for a moment.

"My apologies, but if dating me was what you were hoping for... I will have to turn you all down." I said seriously, causing the females to go quiet, with a few of them crying.

"Than... I will wait for you. No matter how long it takes." A woman said while walking up to hold my hands, but she was quickly pushed out of the way as the other rushed forward for the opportunity. And they all made the same promise to wait for me, something which left me having a weird look seeing how serious they were.

they all were quickly told to leave the guild, leaving everyone's eye on me and Cana, who had a downcast look.

"I'm sorry Cana... but it looks like we can only date in secret. I fear you or I might end up getting kidnapped." I said softly, causing the downcast look Cana had to disappear, replaced with a stunned look before she smiled in joy.

"You rejected all of them for me?" Cana asked with a moved look, with how glued the females were to Alex, she was sure Alex could date more than one of them without trouble.

"Yeah... I wouldn't break your heart like that." I said while rubbing her head slightly, a scene which left Erza with bitter feelings, a feeling which she quickly suppressed with all her strength.

"Well, let's head out," I said with a smile, to which Cana and Erza nodded slightly before we reported to Makarov about the 3 missions we had taken. after, we headed to the train station.

"What's this?" On the train, Erza gave me a book. if I could read, I would realize it said story books for dumbys. But since I couldn't, I simply asked her.

"I will teach you how to read. this book is a good way to get the basics down, and from here you can become self-taught by challenging yourself to read more complex books." Erza said to which I nodded slightly in understanding, before looking over toward Cana

"Want, shocked I can't read?" I asked with a smile, to which she nodded truthfully, she couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed. how could Erza know this before her? To say the least, this didn't impact her love for me. instead, she saw it as an opportunity for them to get to know each other closer, but Erza took it.

She could only watch as Erza went on to teach me, honestly learning how to read all over again was annoying. but with the boosts to my potential, I found myself quickly remembering things. the system explained that I wasn't a human, while Cana's potential stat showed what her future growth can be, in my hands, it showed future growth plus learning talent.

Because of this, I learned things faster than even Cana whom I had gained the stat which was odd. but I guess it was like my body stat which all stats were equal, before being divided.

So, after a few minutes, Erza found I could read the book on my own. although new words lead to me having to sound them out, I remember what each letter sounded like, and how it could be affected by different letters near it.

"... Alex, why does it feel like your body is growing hotter?" Cana asked as sitting next to me couldn't help but ask feeling the warmth coming off my body. at her words, I touched my face in worry, 

"Not that... you giving off warmth that no normal human should be capable of." With black lines, Cana said softly. what was with that worried look, as if he was handsome enough and any more would be too much?

"what do you mean? I feel normal." I said while touching myself, but I felt normal. Cana placed her palm on my forehead, only pulling it back as it was burning. Erza couldn't help but do the same, and she too was stunned at how hot I was

"You're too hot," Erza said with a deep frown, this level of warmth wasn't normal. but at her words, I blushed slightly.

"Thanks... but is being hot a problem?" I said while my thumb brushed against my nose, Erza's face was covered in black lines, and Cana's face also had black lines. she was truly learning something new about her boyfriend. 

As the train stopped, I pushed off the table in front of us to stand up, but I didn't know my own strength as I broke the table, and fell down. this shocked not only Erza and Cana but even me. using the train walls to get up, I ended up shattering the wall

"I seem to have gotten stronger. Is that the more handsome I get the stronger I get?" I asked while pulling my hand out of the wall. but I was truly shocked, I was more than twice as strong at the moment. and it was a few hours away from none.

{At sunrise, you are only 1.1 times stronger. form there, your strength shall grow every minute. every 30 minutes, your strength shall increase by +50%. currently, it's 7:00 AM, so your strength is twice as strong. at this point, you would find yourself giving off heat that would only grow hotter and hotter with every passing minute.} The system explained my confusion, but I was truly shocked to hear my strength grew by so much every 30 minute

{By 10 AM, your strength would no longer increase by the same pattren. the pattern would instead increase. At Noon, You Shall be 50 times stronger than base form.} The system said to which I nodded slightly

Getting up, I struggled to get off the train without touching anything else. being broke, Cana covered the damages for me, I will pay her back later. So, we went on our feet towards a forest, which was a few minutes away from the train stop.

But at every minute, the heat I gave off only increased as my muscles which at first wasn't noticeable began to show themselves, while at the same time, my height grew to handle the strength. this happened extremely slowly, Erza was the first to notice with her sharp eyes. 

She couldn't help but blush when she looked at my pants which had become tight, revealing the outline of something below. yet Alex didn't notice. As his strength grew, his flesh grew more durable, to the point he didn't even feel his shirt tightening around him.

we soon arrived near a village that lived near a forest, upon our arrival, we had to go speak with the village chief which had requested the mission. we were of course welcomed upon arrival and instantly spoke with the chief

"Thank you for coming. the bear I asked for you to hunt down is no simple bear, but one capable of using magical energy." the chief said seriously, to which I nodded slightly.

"That explain the reward of 300k jewels," I said to which the Chief nodded slightly. for a hunting mission, 300k jewels were indeed a lot. So, it was indeed safe to guess that the animal we had to hunt down wasn't simple.

"What type of magic does it use? And even 300k jewels seem to be a lot. what are you hiding." Erza asked calmly, 

"Earth magic... there is more than 1 of them. 150k per bear." The chief said making Erza frown slightly. two bears might be too much, she would have to handle them one by one, Erza had the right to be an S-rank mage, although she had yet to reach that level of power, her skills made up for it. 

After getting everything from the chief, we head to the forest while Cana reads the cards to locate the bear.

"You two need not be so serious, adding my boost of power, you two should be able to defeat the bears. if not, I will step in to help." I said calmly, while holding out my palm, creating a golden light that empowered the two. feeling this boost of power, which was far more than what they felt at the guild, they were stunned. Erza felt 20% stronger, while Cana was 45% stronger. 

"As expected, as I grow stronger the greater the boost of power can I give you," I said with a smile, leaving the two to nod slightly in an understanding of my powers.

"The bears are over there, they seem close. a mother and father pair." Cana said to which Erza nodded slightly while using her magic, Requip, to equip two swords.

Requip is a Caster Magic and a type of Spatial Magic related to the summoning of various types of equipment. This Magic allows the users to store items in a pocket dimension so they can easily summon them at any time, even during battle, which gives them a high level of flexibility in combat.

Erza's particular form of Requip is called The Knight. She is noted for her ability to Requip extremely fast and is the only sword Mage known to be capable of Requipping weapons and armor while fighting, she is said to have over 100 different armors, something which made her and her immense strength well-known throughout her place of residence, Magnolia Town, and throughout the entire Kingdom of Fiore, earning her the epithet "Titania".

"Can you draw one of them away, if you can't defeat it just buy me some time to defeat one of them. at the same time, Alex find a safe place to use your light." Erza said seriously, to which we nodded slightly, after all, Erza was the strongest one here. In fact, she was strong enough to even defeat the older members of the guild.

With that, She shot forward with Cana. As they left, I removed my shirt, only to realize my clothing was getting tight. frowning, I quickly got naked, not wanting to destroy the only clothing I had. I shall find another pair of clothing, 

Wings grew on my back, i flew into the sky, where I went on to place my hands together as if I was praying, before slowly bringing them apart. in between my palms, a golden ball that gave off bright light appeared and began to grow the further my palms grew apart. But I paused and waited for the battle down below to start.
